I remember one Halloween maybe ten+ years ago, it was a 9P+, maybe 10P showing of the remake of A Nightmare on Elm St. As me and a couple friends were sitting in prime seats (imo dead center, 1/3-1/4 back from screen) we watched in disbelief as a multi generational family from grandparents down to a baby, and several toddlers marched in and took up the left half of the entire front row. There was zero supervision of any kid crawling , running and yelling all over, and the baby iirc was left by itself in its own seat alternately screeching during the quiet parts and sleeping during the (supposedly) scary parts. It was mayhem.
Good thing the movie sucked or we'd have really been mad, but some patron summoned a theater employee who the whole family just yelled at and almost got physical. And no, it wasn't a Magic Johnson Theater, but close. I think after half the movie had gone, one of them took the screeching baby out to the lobby.
iirc that lovely, caring, respectful family did get us coupons, at least.
