I went to see “Gone with the Wind” tonight at a local theater and someone in the audience had a crying baby that you could easily hear over the dialogue. It just seems like an odd thing to do.

shareI took my little cousin to see Toy Story 2 in the theatre. There were obviously a bunch of kids there, but I'm vowed to never see a kids movie in the theatre again. It's not even the kids making noise that bothers me, it's the parents not doing anything about it.
shareCause parents with newborn babies are losing their minds and they ain't thinking straight no more about anything. These people don't sleep anymore. They desperately want a dose of normalcy and they ain't gonna get it.

I don't like the idea either but people raising kids are raising the future, so I guess cut them some slack.
Where I live they used to have days with screening times just for parents with kids - that is/was a cool idea.
They still have that here, as well as sensory friendly films where the lights don't go all the way out and talking is fine. One of my cousins works with autistic clients and she takes them to those movies.
