For the record, my answer is yes. If you discriminate against somebody merely because of the colour of their skin then that is racism.

I've seen people bring up "the blacks" on here for topics that have nothing to do with black people. There was also a time where I made a post applauding a young female showrunner and there was someone who responded with an rant saying that she's a Jew and how privileged she was. I guess they're entitled to their own opinion, but their views can be extreme.
No you're right - unfortunately. It's quite tiresome but there doesn't seem to be anything to be done except just ignore them.

shareI think the mods here are very good at shutting down any posts that advocate violence (hate speech), but there's a big difference between that and free speech (someone posts an opinion you consider intolerant).
There's plenty of posts I don't agree with, but I will always support people's right to speak to their minds.

Depending on how far it's taken, it's explicitly against the rules:

When I see a post I disagree with, I have two choices: rail against it or ignore it.
In most cases, I ignore it.
If someone posts something designed to stir the pot what that person really wants is attention, if they don't get it they're merely shouting into the wind.
We can't control what others may think or feel. We can only control our reactions.
This is far more important to teach children than 4 additional surgical gender options. Just look at how many adult in here don't appreciate nor understand free speech.
