Do you know the true nature of his marriage? It's a question I've had for years now. I know it's insignificant but these little mysteries feel like an itch that can't be scratched
And that's ok, every individual must earn being liked, it's not just a given
I have no problem with Hugh Jackman as an actor or person
I just demand answers to very personal details about his private life
Thank you for responding sensibly rather than attacking me
People are kidding themselves if they think this is just an uncommon love story. I see no reason not to question their motives
I see most other celeb pages filled with toxic threads. Hugh Jackman isn't above this just because people think he's nice. Besides, it's not like he's gonna read this
John Grisham was a hot commodity during that time, despite his middling talent. He pretty much WAS the genre of "legal thriller". Once he fell out of fashion the genre died
Courtroom Dramas like Philadelphia are something else. They aren't crowd pleasers, so they're not gonna be churned out as frequently
Usually you only get court dramas when someone finds a worthwhile true story to adapt
If elvis pursued her then he desired her, no? OP isn't projecting, it's historical fact that Elvis desired a minor
Even if he didn't pork her, at the very least he groomed her. And the parents' permission is irrelevant. Plenty of parents even today would allow a rich celebrity to date their kid
I'm planning to start an off shoot of Scientology where Tom Cruise is the central prophet rather than L. Ron Hubbard
I think Peña would make a great apostle
No, I don't watch smut. I saw clockwork once orange. It was ok I guess
It may be a myth, but it could also be that given the almost complete lack of knowledge of infectious disease transmission in ancient times caused a not-particularly-bad disease to wreak havoc on populations either through pure chance or due to particular social/cultural practices specific to those times
People brush their teeth with a completely dry toothbrush. No foam or liquid in their mouths
People flying through windows without severing arteries
Skinny hollywood actresses like Anne Hathaway being called fat
That is what I figured based on the trailer, and based on the fact that it's a sequel to a corny 80s blockbuster. Many 80s "classics" are notoriously shallow
Tom Cruise, as a producer, seems to have become a figure that I'd almost compare to guys like Spielberg and James Cameron, where attempting big technical innovations takes a front seat over telling an artistically meaningful story
It's the best one. 2 is awful
3 is bland like everything by JJ Abrams
4-the rest are solid but they all blur into one single amorphous blob of noise, generic villains with irrelevant motivations, and flashy stunts
Christopher McQuarrie just a shill, Tom Cruise has been running the series for the longest time now. He prioritizes gimmicks like stunts because they drive his ego and are good for marketing
Brian de Palma brought genuine style, the first one is a genuine spy film. Every other director in the franchise, except apart from John Woo, shrunk underneath Cruise's starpower
It's a modern classic
He's so funny, I love him
He isn't wrong at all. Tom Cruise gave up on serious acting after his short stint of Oscar baiting in the 90s. He is just an Action Star Vehicle guy and absolutely nothing else now
Who?
Only #8 is valid. #6 is only semi-valid. Everything else is you being creatively lazy or close- minded
It's a movie, not a novel. Some things can't be thoroughly explained without dragging the movie down to a halt
Ok thank you. That is very kind
But then why would new people looking for a movie board be encouraged to stay here if every conversation they try to start has a real slow flow? Are spammers such a big deal that you're willing to make a terrible first impression?
It's definitely not just 45 seconds. Not even close. In fact, I'm going to wait 45 seconds before replying just to be 100% sure. It's literally like 5 minutes
Edit: yup. I waited 45 seconds and still got that message. I've never been in a movie board with such a long wait requirement. You really think spammers need a wait time longer than a minute? It's excessive
Goodfellas
I admire your strict use of proper punctuation. On the internet the final sentence is often left without a period. Yet you defiantly flaunt these conventions. Perhaps you are the prophesied Chosen One.
