That's true. And 76 Kong was, in my opinion, A waste of film. I take it you have never seen Guardians Of The Galaxy It is a great film. Why it did not win an Oscar is beyond me. The Oscar Winner that year was "Ordinary People" Unfortunately, humans tend to fear what they don't understand. This traces back to cave man days when everything that looked different was considered dangerous. I like to think we have evolved with better understanding of differences. But, unfortunately, some people, even today, have not evolved enough. Maybe, but in this day and age, Hollywood seems to be unoriginal and so they go back to the well for ideas instead of something original. Shogun with Richard Chamberlin all those years ago is an epic masterpiece and had the greatest Asian actor whoever lived - Toshiro Mifune! LOL! I believe that also, if it wasn't a hacker getting into IMdb to mess with things. "I see that your Schwartz is as big as mine!" Have you seen "A Quiet Place"? Both John and Emily co star in it and both do a great job. And John does a great dramatic acting job. <spoiler>They will probably bring in another actor to play a Tony Stark variant, like they did all those Bruce Waynes in "The Flash".</spoiler> I agree wholeheartedly! Not really looking forward to that movie. Not after seeing Godzilla Minus One ... Now THAT is how you make a Godzilla movie! It sure seems like it. I also looked on his IMdb profile page and he only has 12 Actor credits and 2 of them were for roles he did back in the 1970s! How old is this guy? If I am not mistaken, he has to be up in his 60s at least! Here is the mini bio from his page: "Considered by many to be an actor whose talent and screen presence is reminiscent of The Golden Age of Hollywood, Miles began acting at a young age and originates from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is the great nephew of legendary actor Karl Malden. In addition to acting, Miles modeled in Europe and appeared in Playgirl magazine." I have never heard of him before. If he is so prolific, how come he only has a handful of acting credits? And how come he doesn't have a bigger presence in Hollywood? Another thing. How come those films do not have trailers? Weird, I think. It almost sounds like a prank. We shall see... You said "This movie is absolutely irrelevant and boring for the vast majority of people". Personally, I don't think so. In your initial post, you said the movie is good but way overrated. Then you say it is irrelevant and boring. Which is it? You know what I think? I think you are one of those people who come on these boards to get a reaction out of people. You are one of those people who hide behind their computer and think it's fun to pick fights. I have more to do in my life than to deal with people like you. *hits ignore* So, you think acting is easy? Try it yourself and report back here! Too bad. In the view of many, this was the best Kaiju movie ever made. But, it's okay if you didn't get it. To each their own. Fonda was one of the greatest actors who ever lived. He had a way of making it look natural and easy, which it isn't. In my opinion, he was robbed of the Oscar for best actor on at least two occasions. He won for this film (finally) but should have won for "The Grapes of Wrath". Considering how old he was at the time, his acting was fine. He was probably bringing his actual age into his portrayal.
