Of course not.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
When he split into two beings, it was actually happening more or less in his psyche. His good persona fighting his bad persona. They were both super powered, as evidenced by the "evil" Superman throwing Clark into the car crusher and Clark finally bursting out of it, unharmed.
I agree with you!
It's funny that someone with the screen name "moviebuff" would not finish watching a film. It has been my experience, being a "movie buff" means that you will watch a film to the end to get the full experience.
Such language. Shows your intelligence level. Of course, many of the people on here, including myself, think that you are trolling to get a reaction. Who in their right mind would quit watching a great movie before it ended?
Finish watching the movie.
Really? You stopped watching? Well, that was your fault.
Who cares?
For you he was the least likeable character. For me, he was the most HUMAN character, Penny being second.
In 1978, the year after the first Star Wars appeared, I was a 27-year-old guy who always loved Superman and I thought ... finally, a Superman done right!
I watched the film again last night and was looking for something that explained his huge growth, and I found it!
At one point in the film, it is shown the atomic testing happening and there is a quick shot of Godzilla staring to mutate in the ocean. It is quick, only about a couple of seconds, but it's there.
Because it is a great movie. And besides, a lot of foreign films outclass American productions.
I am assuming that you are posting to get a reaction.
I think you are afraid that you will be proven wrong.
I am 72 years young as of this post, and I remember seeing several of the old Godzilla movies in theaters. And while I will admit that some of them were basically kiddie fare, this new Godzilla is all death and destruction instead of being some enormous superhero.
On the budget that the producers had to work with, they accomplished the incredible.
A Godzilla that out classes many of the Japanese films that have preceded it, and gave, from my viewpoint anyways, a very engaging story from the human perspective.
Amen, brother!
The movie had me until the werewolf brawl at the end, followed by Del Toro's Lawrence Talbot dying.
They are both pretty. I think Dakota is a slightly better actress and she did a good job in "Equalizer 3"
LOL!
I think some people mistake what the main theme of Mr. Holland's Opus is.
What I took it to mean. His Opus was not about the failed attempt at writing a masterwork. He thought it was, but it wasn't.
His opus was how he reached out to his students and made THEM better.
Similar to Dead Poet's Society.
I guess you are out of luck then, if "almost every radio station" plays music you don't want to listen to. Go ahead, call me a boomer, which I am. And I wear that "badge" with honor. It amuses me when some snot-nosed kid thinks that calling someone who grew up in the greatest time in America is an insult.
What are you. Gen Z or a Millennial?
You are the kids who blame us for all the problems in the world, and yet I have seen so many examples of excess committed by your generation.
