The Wikipedia entry for the true story..
Just finished the first episode. *MILD SPOILERS*
Do you know someone like this?
Looks like Rodney Dangerfield.
I think this show did a great job
It's just dull..
Way too many hallucinations/flashbacks.
How do Diego and Ben speak fluent Hispanic and Korean, respectively?

JLC has a stronger looking frame. I think she ragdolls McBride.
Just seems like an unfair ultimatum.
In the short time you are on earth you either believe in a bunch of stuff written and told by other men via word-of-mouth which has not only been interpreted in drastically different ways, but also have versions that were later revised by some in power, or burn in fire and be molested or whatever by demons for eternity.
Do you believe that applies to every creature or just humans?
I can tell you what happens to happens to miscarriages at a hospital, but I've never worked at an abortion clinic.
When I was skinny in high school, the only people who ever even pointed it out were fat people.
A whole shit ton of people.
I'm also confused, because for so long we were told to never trust "big pharma". Then the second they rush out some vaccines, everyone was just willing to stake their reputations behind these companies.
I've only watched the first episode, but this is one thing I was kinda worried about. A lot of shows now try to modernize how people talked and behaved, and basically jam current ideologies and dialogue into time periods where it has no business being.
What I love about Stranger Things was that the kids actually acted and spoke like kids in the 80's would. They rode their bikes around and played Dungeons and Dragons in their basement and arcade games at the gas station. They didn't sit around discussing politics and social issues.
I'm guessing this show doesn't go that route, from what you're saying and what I've read elsewhere.
Elvis, Top Gun, Glass Onion and The Batman.
All Quiet and The Whale are really the only other two I'm looking forward to. A lot of the others I haven't heard of. No interest in seeing Blonde, even for Ana.
Really bizarre.
Can only speculate. If nothing morbid, maybe just someone suffering from crippling loneliness thinking this would give her some sense of kinship/comraderie/community? Reliving the last time they were happy?
Obviously mental illness at play here. Just a matter of which form.
On a side note, I would love to be able to go undercover to a high school for just one day to see how much has changed for a typical student these days.
