How do Diego and Ben speak fluent Hispanic and Korean, respectively?

Neither of them knew their mothers, and both were raised by Hargreeves. There is zero evidence that either of them had ever had the chance, let alone the time, to study their respective languages to become fluent..

Is this ever explained?

I mean everything about this show is a suspension of disbelief. I just thought maybe that had been explained somewhere and I missed it..?

Seems reasonable to imagine them being taught foreign languages as children. It would make sense for Hargreaves to make sure his Korean-born son speaks Korean like a native in the event that later in life he has to go to Korea to handle some Umbrella-related mission. Didn't Vanya/Viktor, who presumably came from Russia, speak Russian?

I suppose that's reasonable to assume. I don't remember Vanya/Vik speaking Russian but maybe I missed that. It would have been cool if there was a quick scene showing one of them learning that during their "training".

I was just watching season 3, and there is a scene where Ben and Diego start arguing in fluent Hispanic/Korean and it just felt like it came out of nowhere.

Diego has spoken Spanish before, but he also seemed a bit more freelance than the others. So I'd kind of assumed he'd gone out and found his way into learning it for himself, but when Ben did it, it threw me off for a second.
