I do kinda wish we didn't know he did it until the robot accidently let it slip. but is what it is as written, and entertaining as is
well..... it displays someone making bad decisions. almost every film ever shows people doing the wrong thing.
yes, his actions are horrible - just like many actions are in every horror film people watch.
without conflict, most movies really really suck.
ok... that was a stretch. like when a standup comedy guy drops a joke that sounds good on paper, but it doesn't really work with a live audience.
It was like a too obvious joke. Kind of a.... yyyyeaaahhhh, got it.
the option was: he wakes nobody, ship explodes from the damage, all 5000 die. the end. very sad.

huh. I guess not everyone on Earth is exactly the same. I really enjoy shaymalan's productions, AND really love all Nolan's films too. Who would have guessed that is possible? I hate hate hate green beans though.

yeah... truth told, his stuff is just not for me, and that's okay. we're all allowed different tastes. garbage is too strong a word, his films are very competently made just not for my tastes. I've tried nearly all of his, but just don't connect, relate or care, and that pisses me off. but it's ME, not the movie. lots of people like his stuff, and that is cool too.
A lot of people like Transformers, and that is also fine. :)
Having the term emo in a sentance referring to Bond, is everything wrong with modern Bond.

Best part is the interesting places it goes with the situation.
To me, worst thing is, it could have been a 30 to 60 minute twilight zone episode.... but that is a problem for many movies these days
