Better horror if she finds out she is #4

As we see in the movie, Lawrence plays her usual nagging self.
What if he tried this with 3 other girls before, possibly hot instead, but it never worked so he got rid of each one?

So she gives him all this shit about waking her up, till she realizes he is a serial dater and her only choice is to make him happy. Or exit through the garbage disposal.

Or kill him in his sleep, and wake a hot guy for herself!

This is all the corporation to be blamed for.

Didn't get what you mean.

reply

Waking happened because the company didn't check the sleeping pods or perhaps made them cheaper.

reply

I'm not sure if you watched this movie... the failure was an asteroid strike

reply

SORT OF related.... had you seen this comic that is supposedly from the 50's?

Ahaha, you totally nailed it!
WTF, they stole my idea!!!
Thanks for the link, great read.

Cannot say anything anymore that it's already been done. What the hell...
Anyway, that is exactly what I was thinking, that this whole idea was underused in this movie and it had a bigger horrific potential of a guy actually doing a whole charade about making a mistake etc, while in reality he had done this already many times, as we find out with horror....

But to be fair, wounding up stranded in space with Jennifer Lawrence as your only company is horrific enough.

I still look at it as: if he didn't awaken her, all 5000 passengers would have died. Fate.

reply

And make it a bit subtle, like in I am Mother :D

reply

Shit, loved that :D

I mean the twist was visible from ... space ... but still quite good.

reply

that would be an interesting movie of suspense
instead of that "ship is in danger" banal crap

kill or be killed bruh

reply

That is what I think too.
And it would add some social commentary too, showing some gender specific logic at work.
