Chiefs at Bills- Bills
Texans at Ravens- Ravens
Packers at 49ers- 49ers
Bucs at Lions- Lions
Today's games:
Bills and Buc's will win.
Yep - remember that game well.
I have TSA locks on my bags.
Agree the Chiefs are beatable I'm just not sure my team is the one to do it. Weather conditions are supposed to be bad, so the field won't be fast and that won't help us.
Hey, I will be pleasantly surprised we beat them not only because I would love to see the Dolphins advance, but also I want to see some new faces in the Super Bowl. Honestly, I'll be disappointed if it turns out to be the 49's and Ravens.
Streaming playoff games is such a bad move - you and I are the exception, but I imagine most people will cave in and pay for them.
I wish it would, but I'm afraid it won't. Unfortunately, people will pay to watch the game.
I won't - I will go to a sports bar and watch the game.
I'm a Dolphins fan but it is going to take a lot for us to win - we are so banged up. We have been pulling players off their sofas to play in this game because we have so many injuries.
I'm glad we don't have to play the Bills again.
And I'm totally pissed that my game is the one on Peacock, which I don't have. On principal alone, I will go to a sports bar and pay $30 for a burger and drink to watch the game rather than pick up Peacock at $5.99 for this one game.
You're missing the point. If values increase that much,(and again I'm referring to big increases), then people can sell and no way will they be forced into a lower socio economic area.
But as I previously mentioned, it is a problem for lower income people or seniors who are barely getting by to suddenly have to pay considerably more for property taxes. In many states there is a Homestead clause in the tax system which lets people over 65 pay lower taxes if they don't exceed a income threshold.
And it is totally unfair to base taxes simply on purchase price. Lots of people buy undervalued property and then renovate it, substantially increasing the value. Why should they pay less property tax than someone who buys a house that is valued correctly?
Nope - never go to casinos, but I do play Fantasy Football for $'s.
Sorry, but no. Taxes should be based on property value. I don't have much sympathy for people who can afford multi million dollar houses that increase in value, but I do feel sorry for people who live in up and coming neighborhoods who bought houses at a low price, but because of flippers and renovators, suddenly have their property taxes increased because of the new construction and/or renovations.
Concerning your example - if you have a nice property ,(and nice is the key word), that suddenly becomes worth considerably more and you don't want to pay the increased taxes, then sell for a very nice profit and smile all the way to the bank.
It has potential, but I hope you are either very handy and/or have the money to spend on renovations. It's way too close to the street for me, but that may be the norm in your area.
As a Dolphin's fan, I hate Sabin, so as long as he's at Bama, I'll never be for them and I'm tired of the SEC bias. I personally think college football rankings are a mess and I'm sick and tired of players opting out of bowl games because they are entering the NFL daft, (or also going into the portal.)
I like college football, but it has morphed into something it was never intended to be - semi-professional.
Yes, especially things like candles. I like to entertain and people bring hostess gifts - at times I will re-gift those.
Happy New Year everyone.
Happy New Year!
I can enjoy all of the Terminator movies after 1 and 2 except Dark Fate.
Happy Anniversary!
In 7 months Hobby Lobby will start putting Christmas decorations out and by late fall stores play holiday music and so, it starts all over again.
Perfect! I hope she had a great Christmas.
