....and to pick two of his most instantly forgettable movies, doesn't in any way, shape or form, highlight your agenda, does it?
Statistically speaking....she would have more likely to have been raped by blacks (as opposed to whites) but I know 'fact's and 'reality' don't chide with your (obvious) craving for racial proportionality, does it?
it must be great to be you...you love everyone?
Wow....I've walked into some huge SJW-save-the-whale-BLM-touchy-feely-LGBTQ-tag-team here.....Haven't I?
I'm calling you both out as Gibsonaphobes....suck it up (and own it) snowflakes
You are silly.....there.....is that the reply you wanted, to make up for the (obvious) lack of attention you're clearly not getting at home?
LAST BLOOD was a great Stallone movie....just a 'meh' RAMBO movie
David Prowse recently complained about James Earl Jones nabbing his Vader Voice over with:
"Is It Because I Is Cornish?"
Prompting (mostly peaceful) riots (mainly throughout tea rooms) from Falmouth to Bude
He's a true patriot, that doesn't fall for all the namby-pamby Hollyweird PC rubbish....and tells it like it is.
On top of being a great character actor
I like Bruce Lee (and think he was a great Martial Artist in his own right) but for (almost) 50 years, these urban myths have been taken as gospel, by fans and friends alike. Because he never fought competitively, a lot of conjecture has gone a long way in solidifying of legacy of 'What-If's' and 'Maybes'.....But from the (extensive) stuff, I've seen and read about him, he's nowhere this unbeatable fighter he's made out to be (then again....no-one ever is) He did seem a little pompous and vain at times (but that's expected of 'actors', I guess?)
As an actual fighter and MA practitioner, he was superfit and quick. In his own weight division, I reckon he'd have done very well.....But would have found trouble with bigger, heavier fighters. I wish he'd have made a few more movies before he died) or better yet, not died at all. He seemed to be experimenting with (what would be the blueprint for) MMA with 'Game Of Death'....and showed great possibilities of showcasing an all-round 'form' that encompassed any/all styles. Shame he never finished that movie.
As for being overrated....I'd say 'yes'....Although, I'd point out that it's no fault of his own....more due to the fact that he's been dead longer than alive (and myth has been taken as fact)
BTW, I care little what that Lantern-jawed hack Tarantino thinks about Bruce Lee

(quote) "Dangerous Black Guy".....Really?
(Quote) "Who Doesn't Toe The Corporate Line".....He was working for (cough, cough) Disney....it really doesn't get any more 'corporate' than them. Plus he only decided to pull his 'trusty' race-card *AFTER* the cameras stopped rolling on the franchise has ended.
Stunning and brave, no doubt?
No wonder people laugh at both the BLM movement (and 'black lives' in general) when people like this are held up as 'Dangerous' and 'Non-comformist'?
Awwww....are you 'offended'? (tm)
Two pointed answer:
1) Because it's a pretty good 'bluff' (given the logic of your question)
2) To destroy all the other evidence/theories he had on record (with his Bobby traps)
There was an 'F-Bomb' in Police Academy 2 (which earned it a '15' certificate in the UK back in the day) but from III onwards, they all went 'PG' over here. The first three movies were huge in the UK at the time (and very popular with school kids like myself at the time)
Could you please explain what 'Equality' and 'Representation' that Black people aren't getting?
You know you're doing something wrong....when Marlon Brando complains that YOU'RE difficult on-set?
I think that's why I prefer the sequel....because the first movie (regardless of synopsis) is an 'Arnie' movie (and the Alien seems secondary) The lack of any 'superstars' in the sequel, meant that it had to be plot driven, first and foremost.
I liked the fact they set it seven years in the future, yet it had a 50's noir-ish look to proceedings (rather than have silly 'dated' gadgets, like many 'futuristic' movies)
I think Apollo (despite his friendship with Balboa) was a bit jaded with being out of the limelight for so long. This fight (despite being billed as an 'Exhibition') was anything but for Creed. He went full-on with the 'hype' for the Drago fight and then had to live up so such big words.....and possibly (given the timeframe) actually believed the whole 'US-Vs-Them' mindset (that this movie was striving for)
He likely thought that he could (as with the previous Balboa bouts) go the distance, give his all and overcome Drago. However, by the end of the first round against the Russian....he knew that he either had to put up or shut up (quite literally) and took the inevitable 'suicidal' route. To be fair, given his ego (and braggadocio) he'd have likely perceived himself as a laughing stock, had Balboa either stopped the fight. In my opinion...he'd have likely blown his brains out, had he survived the Drago fight, anyhow?
The shorter answer is:
Ego.
Personally, I thought the ending was too upbeat.
I mean, the movies titled 'Last Blood'....you sort of expect 'closure'.
Rambo has wiped out all the cartel (but is also heavily wounded) sits on his porch, looking all-but done for. They could have been a bit more ambiguous and left the ending open to interpretation....but no......As the credits start rolling...Rambo gets back on his horse and rides off into the sunset (leading the way to an inevitable sequel) which now feels quite hollow (even for a Stallone cash-grab franchise pic) in having the 'Last Blood' title.
Mel Gibson has just starred in a DTV thriller called 'FORCE OF NATURE' (2020) in a role that was originally earmarked for.....(dramatic pause).........Bruce Willis
