It's a great movie. Gets better every time you watch it.
It was way better than Goodfellas.
Real comedy, with heart. Kind of rare, actually.
There have been several better since, but this is the one that started them all.
I saw it in the theater. Just waited a week for the lines to die down.
Hey, we're selling tickets here.
It was a good movie, and she had a good role in it.
It was so setting up the sequel that never happened.
I think "fierce" is the look the Native Americans were going for, to instill fear in their enemies (mostly other Native Americans).
It kind of made sense. They lived in the far north of Scotland, almost an Arctic existence, wearing seal skins and living on seafood. And the Picts have been shown in blue skin paint in previous movies, so why not the Seal People too?
Nice story about a man of honor, and another man of honor who joins him on a quest. The movie shows the native peoples as ruthless, although it does point out they have a legitimate gripe with the Romans too.
Good, believable action and small scale combat.
Thanos represents the logical extreme of the environmentalists. Scratch a progressive, find someone who hates humanity.
I always thought it was a stupid plan too. If half the life in the universe suddenly disappeared, it would quickly reappear to fill the void. Balance of nature and all that jazz. At best it's a temporary blip. Seriously, humans could double their population in 20 years. Other animals reproduce even faster.
Seriously? No one is going to forget that. What a maroon.
Disney doesn't seem particularly interested in maximizing revenue any more. You would think the shareholders wouldn't be too happy about that. Almost like they have some other sort of agenda that's more important to them. Why not stick with what used to work?
No, that was definitely California where the dogfight took place. Texas doesn't have mountains like that.
It was great throughout, with excellent writing and acting. But it did drag on too long before he becomes Saul Goodman, and then rushed too fast to wrap things up once he did. I would have like to see more of peak Saul Goodman, helping bad guys escape the law by outsmarting the local DA and cheating in court.
Breaking Bad was great throughout.
Dexter was more up and down from year to year.
Makes perfect sense.
Winters went from 2nd lieutenant to 1st lieutenant in training camp, then Captain in Normandy, then Major. It was 3 promotions (4 ranks) in 2 years.
