I will watch both. Oppenheimer because it is interesting to me, and Barbie because word is that they did a great job with it.
Yeah, I'm surprised at how well it has done, actually. Although people were kind of starved for good movies after the past 3 years.
Not surprisingly. Every girl in America played with Barbie dolls. Most people under 70 have no idea who Oppenheimer was.
I've heard it was about one-third pro British (Tory), one-third pro-independence, and one-third leave me out of it. But definitely more pro-British in the South where Martin was from. They even had Loyalist militia in Georgia.
In this he looked like he was straining to hold up the oil rig when it was falling. But then he stacked a semi-truck and trailer like they were toys.
Later in Justice League, he carried a whole apartment building. Not sure how it held together, he must have good balance.
Perfect, except for the one red Christmas light bulb.
Two words: Hillary Swank.
This show has mastered the complex art of being inclusive/woke, while also making fun of being inclusive/woke, while also making fun of people who make fun of being inclusive/woke.
They should just have AI write the script. They have enough movies and episodes to base it on.
Well, the Universe didn't create itself.
Agreed, it was well made, with 2 interesting characters and a time limit and some interesting survival challenges.
The real mistake they make is forgetting about relativity. If they can travel fast enough to get between star systems in a few years, they will be going so fast they will age much more slowly than the families they left behind. Not to mention that years that messages would take to get back and forth -- messages can't travel faster than light.
Find a defensible cave with a water supply.
Make a lot of simple weapons (spears, bow, arrows, etc.)
Hunt the big slow dinosaurs.
Make a boatload of dino-jerky.
Glad to see more Anne Hathaway movies getting made, too.
It's worth a watch. A simple survival tale. Plenty of dino action.
And Battlestar Galactica.
Yeah, but then it would have been Prey.
Yeah, the improbability made you shake your head. But still a good survival tale. Speaking different languages made it more difficult for them, and added weight when they did understand each other.
Not boring at all. Just a simple plot and a battle for survival. Real characters with some emotional depth.
Most movies are.
