Lol that’s messed up.
And then one also takes into account that it was 20 years after ‘68, a crazy year, to put it mildly.
I watched this movie on cable when I was about 12, home alone out in the country of East Texas. Parents weren’t coming home till after midnight. The movie was both uncomfortable and terrifying.
Good point. I wonder if Gorillas in the Mist received any flack.
See I can watch Dumb and Dumber any day of the week. The other Jim Carrey’s, not so much, but I enjoy them still when I do watch them. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen The Mask though.
Wow I’m so honored to be called that. Especially coming from Mr. Movie himself, your excellency.
STELLAAAAAAA!
Never heard of it but I’m happy to hear that you have.
Well I don’t watch much late night actually but thank you for the idea.
I said that it was a funny movie. What more do you want?
And okay I’m a miserable loser. What does that have to do with me expressing my opinion on a movie?
Lol I never did think of that. Probably cause I was a kid.
See thank you. Billy Madison is great, but I don’t enjoy as much as I used to. I do think it’s a better movie than Tommy Boy though.
Miserable maybe, troll no. Have y’all never rewatched a movie you haven’t seen in awhile only to find you don’t enjoy it like you used to?
Of course the movie hasn’t changed, but the phrase “it’s not as good as it used to be” is just a figure of speech.
Geez you know it’s people like y’all that ruin message boards. Y’all are the trolls. Always calling people out for just expressing their opinion. Why don’t you take a goats hind legs, put them in the boots you have on, and have your way with it.
I remember seeing it when I was about 15 and I enjoyed it. Sure I didn’t like some things but who cares.
American Pie all the way.
Nice theory but I don’t think it matches with the tone of the movie, unless it was played for laughs. The movie’s humor does stem from Gump’s impairment and earnestness.
I liked her more in a mellow role so I’m going Gilbert Grape.
That’s my Boy. Never heard a theater laugh so hard.
That being said, the Paper Chase was a huge letdown.
Ear muffs was funny. “You don’t have to celebrate it.” lol
My dad had the soundtrack on vinyl. I think it was mostly iron butterfly and cream.
They should’ve had a series finale though.
