My name in real life is Beau. Ever since I was a kid, and all the way up to this day, there’s been a small percentage of people I come across that act all weird and don’t understand that “Beau” is pronounced “Bo”. And I mean, a SMALL percentage of people. So I assure you that you are in the minority on this. I chalk it up to the fact that he’s old and had a good life. He probably felt like he was ready enough to go. Very good film! Sadly mostly forgotten. I’ve owned the blu ray since it’s release and even I forget about it sometimes. Gotta give it a spin again soon! The ending was friggin’ beautiful. If people were underwhelmed by it they obviously don’t see how different of a show from Breaking Bad it was at it’s core. I think Bruno was probably the most proud he was the appear in a film! Yes, that was a great scene. Val was a wonderful and underrated Batman. Schumacher may of had some excessiveness to his direction, but Batman Forever actually shows some really amazing potential at some points. It should really be separated when discussing it and Batman and Robin. Great. Another film to start a bunch of threads that they won’t follow up on. One of the coolest things about that first batch of Saw movies was that they had killer continuity. Jigsaw and Spiral taken as themselves are fun starts, but they just ditch them when they have a new movie coming out. Hard to argue. I enjoyed the book immensely, but Crichton WAS a popcorn author. Hardly a bad thing, as it does take a certain kind of talent. Spielberg certainly took the novel and turned it into a much better piece of entertainment. I prefer Crystal Skull to Raiders. Yes, he compartmentalized the hell out of the Chuck situation. It seems like he even convinced himself 100% that Chuck’s suicide was Howard’s fault and not his own. I don’t even think he told Kim what he did in regards to the malpractice insurance thing, did he? I grew up with these movies and always enjoyed them, but I’ll admit when I was 4/5/6 years old I rarely watched them in one sitting. I especially found everything from the original movie after they escape the Death Star to be rather boring. In fact, I still feel like that part of the original to drag a bit. The assault on the Death Star really only heats up when it’s down to Luke and Wedge. I thought it was also said it was when him, Rhea Seehorn and Patrick Fabian were all together. Unless I read wrong. Either Lalo will take care of the body, leave it for Jimmy and Kim which will lead to Mike taking care of the body, or they’ll make it look like Howard came over committed suicide. Haven’t clicked on the article yet, but both would benefit from being an hour or more shorter. Haha! But seriously, I’m my book, The Batman is closer to being a really great film. I liked this one a lot from the first viewing, but I will say, for sure, that it gets even better with more viewings. It’s actually my favorite of the all the Pirate films. It utilizes its runtime better than all the others, even with the rest of the films being shorter. How is this movie a metaphor for a girls getting her first period? I have seen the movie and don’t know what you’re talking about. This is one of those movies I wish I could have seen in its original time, having seen none of the sequels, nor even any other movie made in general after it’s release. I’ve always appreciated this film even though I saw it for the first almost two decades after its initial release (I was born in 1986), but having “been there” would have been a treat. Maybe? I have no idea but I bet hardly anyone does that anymore if they still offer it. I remember when mailing DVDs was the only thing Netflix was really known for. I definitely prefer The Batman to The Dark Knight. Though The Batman definitely isn’t perfect, it’s much closer conceptually to the kind of Batman movie I crave. It didn’t really justify it’s runtime, and could have used a bit less of the mobster story stuff, but overall it was a great watch and hopefully there’s more to come from Reeves/Pattinson. I was never a huge fan of any of Nolan’s Batman movies. The Dark Knight was at least the best of the three, because of Heath’s Joker and the Harvey Dent story arc was quite compelling. But the rest is just not my cup of tea when it comes to super hero cinema. Because nobody cared about wokeness 20 years ago, unlike all the snow flakes of today who throw a fit over everything.
