It's difficult to rank them all now. I will say that all four Avengers films, the three Steve Rogers Captain America films, the three Guardians of the Galaxy films and the three Spider-Man films would all be in my top 20 so they've done a good job with those. I don't think Captain America: Brave New World is as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be but it's in the lower half of my ranking along with The Eternals. I also have Shang-Chi and Black Panther in my top 20. I absolutely agree that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is at the bottom. It's a well acted and directed bore-fest and killing off T'Challa is probably one of the worst decisions Marvel Studios have made for this cinematic universe. They absolutely should have waited and recast. Just saw it and I completely disagree, this wasn’t suspenseful at all and it’s because (unlike Longlegs) it throws out all of the established conventions of a suspense film. Some would praise the film for that and being different but it ultimately just robs the film of atmosphere and suspense and makes the film a slog to get through. I was bored of Kelly-Anne by the end of the film which is not something you want from your protagonist. Just seen it myself and it completely fails as a one-location suspense thriller and it's mostly really boring apart from the occasional bit of daftness from Marky Mark. 3/10 Yeah the film is just about okay. It’s well directed and atmospheric but it’s just not particularly entertaining and the screenplay feels very underbaked. It was only just okay I thought, as you said you don’t care about Bianca and that is a huge problem when her and The Jackal have about the same amount of screen time. The show also just feels like it was written as a limited series but they rewrote the finale to set up a second season instead. I might watch season 2 but I didn’t think the finale set up much of anything as a hook to get me to watch it. I don’t know why people are shocked by this, the animation is fantastic and high quality animation isn’t cheap. Across the Spider-Verse had a budget of $150 million and that’s a 140 minute film whereas this is a series that has a total running time exceeding 12 hours. It’s a shame for that money though they couldn’t get some good writing for season 2 instead of the mess we got. I’m fan of Eggers’ films and even I thought this is getting praised too much. My main problem with the film is that the title villain becomes increasingly less interesting with each appearance to the point where I was bored of him. That’s a huge mistake in my opinion and kind of ruins the film for me. I thought the last two Sonic films, Detective Pikachu and Gran Turismo were all entertaining but yeah this is definitely the best video game film yet. Way better than the Mario film from last year which just didn’t have the laughs at all and was purely aimed at kids. Probably best she wasn’t in it, the Robotniks and Shadow were the stars of this one. Maybe she’ll turn up in Sonic 4 Agreed, I thankfully saw this film for free and I only went because it was already confirmed to flop and the SSU was being scrapped. I don't know why Sony thought these films were a good idea, I really hope this film being panned and flopping doesn't deter Marvel Studios from using Kraven as a villain in a future Spider-Man movie because he truly is one of the best supervillains that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko ever created.
