Somewhere in my head I hear Celine Dion singing “My show will go on...” Dean won’t die because Michael will keep him alive. Truthfully I can’t imagine how horrifying this would be for Dean. And Sam stating he must be scared. Scared? Try petrified. Terrified. Scared. Pffft. I’m thinking this might end up being the season ending cliff hanger. Splash, indeed. Never doubted renewal for 15. Congrats to all. More likely because it has to do with Sam. Dean would die or sacrifice himself in a heartbeat without thinking twice about it. That look of distress probably involves Sam in some way that is unthinkable to Dean. Not so much Sams death necessarily as it’s Deans death book but maybe involving Sam having to let Lucifer in or demon blood powers... Ok. Rewatching the promo and it looks like Dean is standing there with his hand <spoiler>on a metal box of some kind. So instead of a cage he’s going to seal himself off in a warded box? Where would they put it once he does? Where would they get the spell or warding to contain Michael once (I’m assuming) Dean dies? The picture in the book looks like some type of box. Is the difficult decision Sam faces going to be agreeing to this? Sealing his brother in to this metal box for eternity? Since we know Dean is with Sam, Mary and John for episode 300 then I think it’s fairly safe to say something stops him from carrying thru with this plan? What a depressing thought - sealing yourself up like that to await death or for eternity if Michael keeps him alive.<spoiler> WHY ISNT THE SPOILER BLACKOUT WORKING??? So if Michael leaves/ejected he said he will leave Dean blood and bone. If he gets out of Deans “mental cage” then he takes control once more and all Hell breaks loose and it’s only a matter of time before he breaks free. If Dean kills himself Michael would only resurrect him (as Lucifer told Sam). Unless they come up with a miraculous Hail Mary it looks like the only option while Michael is contained is to expel himself. The cage? A new cage? Whatever it is he’s welding. Did he get the instructions from the last Volume of Dean? It looked like there was something (a picture?) on the page where Mary found the ruler or whatever that metallic thing was. Why the time travel in ep 300? Is Dean going to go back to Stuhl and throw himself in along with Sam? If he goes back he changes history - right? <spoiler>and Zachariah and John will be in it too. Why? And it is through Deans wish(?) that John returns. I have a feeling this is going to be a heartbreaker<spoiler> My head hurts. Gotta admit they have really got me curious. Will Dean go to our Michael and make a deal to say yes on the condition our Michael kills AUMichael and is then freed? Our Michael wouldn’t care about the Apocalypse anymore. Beyond that the number one thing that would freak Dean out would be if it endangered Sam. I’m interested in why Dean can’t expel Michael. Is what Michael was saying about his inner most feelings true? Or close enough to true? Can’t blame Dean for not wanting to go on. Deep down inside. Dean didn’t exactly deny what Michael was laying down. There has to be a kernel of truth otherwise Dean would be able to eject him. And say Dean gets his head straight and tells Michael to leave - would Michael be able to destroy Dean on the way out? Poor Dean. He’s screwed no matter what he does. No excuse for cutting Deans storyline short. Just when it finally starts to get interesting. They do this EVERYTIME. Purgatory. Oh Dean gone. Oh he back! Annnd now the flashbacks... MOC? Oh he got it. And it’s bad, real bad. Only when it’s not which was most of the time. And then he dead. But a demon! This could get really interesting between Sam and Dean-and it did by the end of the 3rd episode until Dean is cured. Most interesting/anticipated storyline in ages and they blew it because of Episode 200. Such a waste. But wait! He branded. MOC still present tho seldom accounted for. Mid season we get that glorious episode with Cain and his warning that Dean will kill both his beloved brother and the angel. I had such high hopes. Anticipating a wicked turn to the story annnd nope! After Cain’s defeated it’s like his words, his prophecy, meant nothing. Killing Cain meant zero. It’s not til the final few episodes we see where Dean is heading and then there’s this silly deal with Death about being sent to another planet. Finally Sam is successful and the MOC is removed. Next up. Blah, blah, blah, Amara and her hold on Dean except when it wasn’t (once again 95% of the time), drug on nonsensically until the complete mess that was the ending of Season Eleven. And NOW after all this time and Deans fight to never let Michael take over, we get Michael/Dean. Fantastic. The promise Jensen would be playing another character. So much meat story wise. What do we end up with so far? Mostly flashbacks. And some woman as Michaels vessel. Zzzzzz. Now? Michaels once again retaken his one true vessel. The vessel which will make him the most powerful. His monster armies ready to take down the humans. No solution in sight to save Dean or take Michael out! Sam frantic. Dean is -well, he gone. The stage is set...and then I read that *Spoiler y’all-so stop reading here* next episode DEAN is chatting it up with Donna. Oh, so he’s saved then. Thanks for nothing Dabb. This one sounds lame and uninteresting. Plus Dean is back which means they’ve defeated or at least kicked Michael out of his one true vessel. So were done with that now? Michael will just jump to another? Figures. So based on the synopsis for the 14:11 ep Dean will be back by then? So much for the Michael/Dean storyline continuing on. Guess that means next weeks episode Dean will be saved? Oh crap. Does that mean the whole Michael/Dean will be over by this episode? So ep 14.10 they will get him back? Figures. Interesting. Nihilism No God, no Heaven or Hell. So no right or wrong. Do what you want. Read some different explanations for different types. Existential Nihilism: A single human or even the entire human species is insignificant, without purpose and unlikely to change in the totality of existence. - who does that sound like? True nihilist would believe in nothing, have no loyalties, no purpose other than an impulse to destroy. Okay that could be our favorite badass Archangel. The impulse to destroy - solely - sounds extreme but maybe he gets there this episode. Paradox: Absence of meaning seems to be some sort of meaning. So what does it mean to our characters. Anything? Nothing? Or is it just a cool ep title? How do I feel? Like a crossroads deal may be in order to make sure they don’t RUIN ZACHARIAHS storyline. Destroying more canon because it’s not convenient. Please do not bring him back and make him an ally of the Winchesters. Please do not bring him back only to kill him again. And please let this be a visit to the past and not a newly resurrected Zach. The only way I would want to see badass Zachariah back is to join forces with Michael/Dean. It could be interesting. Zach back and kinda wanting to dish out some payback on Dean, finds out Michael as Dean resurrected him. Is torn because while he knows Dean is buried away deep in his own mind and Michael finally has his one true vessel - still wants his revenge on the elder Winchester. I think the fingersnap is going to be Michael changing back into his Peaky Blinders garb complete with jaunty cap. And that theycapture Michael before he gets the signal off. Tho honestly it could be a dog whistle in everyone’s heads at once like he did to UberGarth I can not figure out for the life of me how they get the Magic Sigil Cuffs on him. Unless they have the real egg and they threaten him with it if he won’t come with them to the bunker? How would TFW+1-1 manage to overcome a psycho Archangel enough to slap the bracelets on him? Especially when he can teleport or fly away in a blink of an eye, fling them all across the room or smite them with his back turned? Just ask Anael, Lydia (How hot was it the way Michael said “Lydia...”. I know I’m sick. I need help) or the poor Muslim guy. ;). How? How! Maybe Jack in a fleeting moment due to his soul infusion suddenly accessesses his power? If that happens at that second that would be so so LAME. Does Anael and the remaining angels from heaven show up? They can’t fly so I’d be curious to see how they would? Does Cas- nah. Did Ketch catch (heh) the Red Eye to the good old USA to burst into the room in the nick of time with another one of his cool gadgets? Does Mary finally listen to her voicemail and she actually gives a shit about her sons long enough for her and Bobby to come to the rescue at the very last minute? Does Garth suffocate in Baby’s trunk? (Likely) Rowena and the Black Grimoire in the nick of time? I can’t think of a single, solitary, uncheesy, unpredictable way out where they successfully bind Michael. I don’t understand why they would spoil that upfront. And Bob Singer says Jensen has a big mouth...I really wish they’d kept that under their hat. Also to be honest I’m nervous over his return. Seriously - name the character that they’ve brought back that they havent either killed or ruined? I don’t understand why people are complaining over the violence/horror. It’s Supernatural - it’s supposed to be uncomfortable to watch. It’s not all kittens and puppies. I want to see darker now and again. Rather than vanilla and corny. Example being the NotSoBigBad Asmodeus. It’s funny though that Mark Pelligrinos Nick is actually more frightening than his Lucifer. I thought they were hinting it would be more an episode where we get the view of outsiders of the boys doing regular non hunter things. Grocery shopping, laundry, that type of idea. I don’t think it so much forgets as can’t afford the good stuff budget wise Ill stick just as long as you don’t shower me with Musca goo... ;) I liked the 100th episode because it kept to the mytharc and it was interesting. 200th episode just crowdedout the DemonDean storyline which could have been so much more interesting between he and Sam. Such a wasted opportunity. No you aren’t alone. I was hoping for something so much better. What we did get was creative just not worthy of the 200th episode. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY CUT DEMON DEAN OFF JUST AS HE WAS GETTING INTERESTING!
