It doesn't MATTER how many embassies the caravan passes. Like most countries, Canadian & US embassies & consulates can't even process requests for asylum protection because, under Canadian & U.S. laws, asylum seekers can apply only if they are physically present in Canada or the US at a port of entry like an airport or a border.
