Dems accused of trying to 'steal' election Florida

THE LEAD STORY - CHAOS IN FLORIDA - Accusing Democrats of conducting a coordinated effort to "steal" elections in a campaign of possibly "rampant fraud," Republican U.S. Senate candidate Rick Scott filed explosive lawsuits late Thursday against the top election officials in two heavily Democratic counties, as they continue to report new votes and three major races in the state appear headed for recounts ... In their lawsuit against Broward County, Scott and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) allege that officials there are hiding critical information about the number of votes cast and counted. And in a parallel suit against Palm Beach County, Scott and the NRSC charge that the election supervisor there illegally used her own judgment to determine voter intent when reviewing damaged absentee ballots, while refusing to allow witnesses to monitor the process.

Scott is running against longtime incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson. "Late Tuesday night, our win was projected to be around 57,000 votes," Scott told reporters. "By Wednesday morning that lead dropped to 38,000. By Wednesday evening, it was around 30,000. This morning, it was around 21,000. Now, it is 15,000." A mandatory recount now appears imminent not only in Scott's race, but also in the agricultural commissioner race and Florida's high-profile gubernatorial contest between Democrat Andrew Gillum and Republican Ron DeSantis, based on new vote totals -- even though Gillum has already conceded. Florida law requires a machine recount when candidates are within 0.50 percentage points of each other. - Reported by Gregg Re (@gregg_re on Twitter)

Rubio warns of Dem lawyers 'descending on Florida' to 'try and steal' key statewide races.

I sure hope the libs request a full investigation into this. Maybe Mueller could help.

The Lib controlled House needs to investigate this pronto! Whats taking so long?

reply

Wow, what do you expect when votes are counted? Sad for you.

reply

I don't live in Florida.

reply

The lib controlled house doesnt take power until January. One good thing to look forward to in that miserable month.

reply

I know, just trying to get a jump on things. I wonder if the Dems will get the blame for not passing legislation in Jan?

reply

Probably will. Plenty of blame to go around .

reply

Bubba with gut. You're trolling.

Or you're ignorant.

The "Lib controlled House" doesn't get seated until January 2019.

Accusations are not proof.

But DO, Keep muddying the waters. Create chaos, it's what enemies of the US want.

reply

It takes longer for the votes in urban areas to be tallied and added to the totals because there are far more votes. It happens every election.

Yet the medicare fraudster governor Rick Scott claims, with no evidence, that means Dems are cheating. It's a pretty funny accusation seeing how Rick Scott is currently governor and controls state voting infrastructure. If anyone is position to cheat, it's him. He knows those late votes added to the tally are going to be coming from heavily Dem districts so invalidating them works to his benefit.

Anyway, it's recount time in Florida since it's the law. Gillem conceded too early. Rick Scott's weak attempt to circumvent a recount failed.

reply

Yet Mueller has been investigating Trump for 2 years with no evidence. The irony is so ironic.

Heres your proof:

"Late Tuesday night, our win was projected to be around 57,000 votes," Scott told reporters. "By Wednesday morning that lead dropped to 38,000. By Wednesday evening, it was around 30,000. This morning, it was around 21,000. Now, it is 15,000."

reply

You have trouble with reading comprehension, so once again:

It takes longer for the votes in urban areas to be tallied and added to the totals because there are far more votes. It happens every election.

Of course his lead is going to be cut down when votes still being counted are primarily from Miami-Dade county. Or are you ignorant of the voting demographics of urban areas?

reply

LOL! He truly doesn’t understand either A) voting or B) arithmetic. Possibly both.

reply

I think it's both. It was truly gobsmacking to see that he cut and paste his "proof" from his OP that I had already explained was bogus in the clearest possible terms if he had actually understood those two concepts.

reply

"Yet Mueller has been investigating Trump for 2 years"
Wow that's amazing when Mueller wasn't appointed until mid 2017 and it's still 2018. Also, I sure didn't hear republicans crying when the Benghazi investigation went twice that long without a single indictment.

"with no evidence."
No evidence Trump's campaign laundered money? You should tell that to Manafort's lawyers.

As an American, you should be allowed to know what financial schemes the leader of the free world is engaged in. We all have the right to know if he is using the office for his own financial gain or not. To say otherwise is extremely un-American.

"Late Tuesday night, our win was projected to be around 57,000 votes"
On November 8th 2016, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were projected to go to Trump's opponent.

Voter fraud?

reply

Guilty pleas and indictments with no evidence.

Mueller is some kind of magician!

reply

Yet Mueller has been investigating Trump for 2 years with no evidence.

Mueller is investigating Russian election interference, not Trump specifically.

Also, you don't know what evidence there is because the investigation is still ongoing.

THAT MAKES YOU A LIAR, AND A TROLL, BUT I ALREADY KNEW THAT.

YOU LACK THE INTELLECT TO MAKE CONVERSATION, SO YOU TROLL AND TROLL AND TROLL AND MAKE UP B.S. AND LIE AND ACT LIKE A CHILD.

THAT'S YOUR ENTIRE "PERSONALITY" AND I DOUBT YOU HAVE ANYTHING MORE TO YOURSELF.

Suck it, troll.

Your alter ego doggie said it was mueller investigating trump, so thats not true now?

reply

ANOTHER trunk full of votes. Move along. Nothing to see here. Everything is completely legal and transparent. LOL.

reply

Just like the 2016 election. Everything was completely legal and transparent.

"But Hillary got more votes." l0l

reply

they are stress testing the system to find out what they can get away with in 2020

reply

Dems are still finding missing ballots, not too surprised.

reply

Repubs could go by leads instead, and get their own investigation going. But nah, conspiracy theories are just so much easier because it sets a narrative without having to do any real work.

reply

Rick Scott should have invested in FL's election integrity. Guess that's what happens when all spending equals bad spending. Rick Scott has sucked for years.

reply

Let math and statistics be your guide to whether the DEMS are stealing the election or not. By the way if I laughed off a court order I'd be in J A I L. Just sayin'.

reply

Math and statistics is just another way of saying look at the polling data. Who laughed off a court order? Is laughing off a court order guaranteed jail time? It seems you're doing everything to avoid explaining what it is that democrats did that was unlawful.

At some point the right is going to have to learn that you need more than a conspiracy theory to prove guilt.

reply

Last week, Mr. Trump called him out by name, referring to “this guy Elias, who represented Hillary Clinton and a lot of very shady things.” That was an apparent reference to Mr. Elias’s secretly arranging funding from two of his clients — Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee — to compile research that became the dossier about Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia.

reply

And once again, the right-wing conspiratards are stuck with a false equivalency, that the Christopher Steele dossier which was revealed to the public after the election, is the same as the DNC hack/Wikileaks Dump that was released before the election specifically to influence the election.

Whatever involvement the Clinton campaign, Fusion GPS, or whatever had with the dossier didn't matter because it went straight into the hands of the FBI. And the FBI didn't speak a word about it to the public until after the election.

reply

How about just going by the vote tally? If that's too scary for you then at least try and be consistent and cry about it if Scott wins the vote count. But I'm sure you won't.

reply

I learned that military personnel can vote when they're overseas and that mail in votes are still being accounted for since they arrive through snailmail. Deadline is November 16 if I recall.

reply

That stupid magaBomber delayed a lot of things in those FL post offices. Workers had to slow things down, looking and sniffing out bomb packages.

reply

Rick Scott wins, democracy wins again.
