She was cute and, at times, sexy in this film - a tough combo to pull off. I liked her look in the hairstyle for this movie as well as her short bob style in ‘Legal Eagles’. Did you later come across him in reruns of the 70’s tv show Welcome Back Kotter? I’d be interested to know if you found him attractive in the Vinnie Babarino role. Wes was partial to tequila. > Bud didn't mind Sissy sleeping and living with Wes, but I guess Bud is the only one allowed to punch Sissy. Well, Bud was himself living and sleeping with Pam, so he really had no standing to object to Sissy’s relationship with Wes. Although still married, they were broken up/separated. Bud was right to object to Wes beating Sissy but you are correct to point out that it makes Bud a bit hypocritical. I think it’s clear that, by that point in the film, Bud had seen the error of his earlier ways. That’s pretty antisocial. Has he manages to stay out of prison? It’s the source of his strength - like Samson’s locks. Bud was, initially, just a piece of ass and likely one-night stand. Pam understood clearly that he was just using her to make his wife jealous and she was okay with that. Women can be lustful, too. I think Bud was initially a sexual conquest for Pam. And she later admitted herself that she didn’t love him deeply. So I don’t think their relationship would have lasted in the long run, anyway. But she was certainly attractive and sexy. Agreed. It was a great performance. He was simultaneously attractive and repellent, which is hard to pull off. I like Stayc’s, too. They had a good debut. Also like Loona, CLC, Iz*One and Red Velvet. Semicolons: the poor man’s apostrophe. I guess he could be living on royalties from his book “Astonishing Tales of the Sea” and, later, the “Coffee Table Book”- but that seems like a stretch. > I always wished that one of the older Brady kids had a regular, steady boyfriend/girlfriend that lasted more than 1 episode That would have been cool. I like Michael and Willow together, too. But, this being a soap, they probably won’t have a happily ever after. I bet Chase and Willow will reunite at some point in the intermediate future during a tough time in her marriage. Chase is just too handsome and charming and Willow seems to see some nobility in his sacrifice. As a kid watching L&S, I always got a laugh from the recurring gag in which Lenny and Squiggy would enter a room after any other characters’ mention of something disgusting or depraved — with Squiggy announcing their arrival saying “Hello” in his inimitable voice. The Tea Party movement, in its original incarnation, arose to oppose Obama’s stimulus plan and Obamacare - the latter in part because of its cost but also because it would inject government control even further into the health care industry. The grassroots movement was ephemeral. But before its demise, numerous groups formed to try to co-opt and channel the energy of the movement to fundraise and draw political support for specific candidates, and thats the only part that lived on. But it’s so-called astro-turf and was a spent force by the time of Obama’s second term. Trump’s deficits are a matter of public record. The only part of the authentic TP’s political platform Trump embraced was getting rid of Obamacare. He campaigned on it and made an early attempt at repeal but failed, never to try again. Just hoped the Supreme Court would strike parts of it down. Definitely flamed out. Nah, Tea Partiers were the fiscal conservative wing if the party. Trump doesn’t even pretend to be a fiscal conservative. He was all about deficit spending and didn’t care a fig about reforming entitlements. The overlap I see among the TP, Palin and Trump is mostly stylistic: the unabashed patriotism and passion to take it to their political opponents in public spaces. It’s relevant to why I view McCain’s elevation of Palin as a mistake. Disagree. Both utilized the strategy of sparring with Republican foes in public and and media to whip up the base and their appeal to their supporters was more personality /cultural-/identity-based than policy based.
