"I wouldn't spend too many grey cells trying to figure it out. This was produced with tons of tax money, so who knows what all went into it and what reaction they were going for? Maybe just propaganda to sell the EU space missions."
That's right, jettisoning half-a-dozen rapey, degenerate criminals to the far end of the galaxy over thousands of years in a futile search for energy was merely a stab at population control. And it's true, this feel-good crowd-pleaser has audiences across Europe just crying out for an EU space programme.
Good that you took your own advice on not wearing out those old grey cells, at least.
They stopped for gas when the cameras were switched off.
Jesus. Talk about proving therefdotcom's point with aplomb.
I thought the film was shit but your criticisms are imbecilic.
First whitey on the Moon
Because he didn't want his film to end like a cheesy ad for life insurance.
Maybe the people that nominated it made it past the opening credits?
The fact that you don't consider using your ears a component of experiencing a movie says enough. But your analogy? Well it might work if the subtitles were being written by the viewer as they watched the film, printed on their lap and having no connection to the film. Instead, it's fatuous the to point of meaninglessness.
The bipedal bias in Hollywood is sickening.

That explains why Halloween: Resurrection has a 4.1 rating.
I'm sure the lack of gloves was deliberate, symbolic of the fact that he didn't put any barriers between himself and his patients, contrasted with the scene in the gym where he pointedly insists on being given a plastic-wrapped towel by the attendant.
Lost interest after about 3 paragraphs of inane rambling.
Also (and for the record I'm speaking as an atheist), preceding a statement with 'FACT' in caps lock doesn't actually make something factual. I'd have thought this would be something a credible scientist would understand.
The Act of Killing's Wikipedia article states "The film was shot mostly in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, between 2005 and 2011". In The Look of Silence I believe Adi says he's 44 years old and he was born in 1968, so that would mean the film was recorded 2012/13, presumably while The Act of Killing was in post-production.
I bet the whole audience gave you a standing applause at your principled 'walk out' while wishing they had the balls to do the same. You're a bit like Gandhi, actually.
You know, just because someone likes a film you think is shit doesn't make it 'fake news'. Your 1/10 is every bit as fake as any 10/10. No doubt you're also the type that brands people as SJWs for seeking to correct social 'injustices' despite being as much of an SJW as anyone.
Gloves! You're right, I better the director never considered that. You should post this in the IMDb 'Goofs' section. Bravo!
