Anyone know if Josh filmed this during the filming of Act of Killing, before, or after. I can't imagine he went back after Act of Killing had been released to film this. If I remember correctly there was a good bit of fallout over there around the release of that film, I can't imagine he would have even been allowed back into the country.

The Act of Killing's Wikipedia article states "The film was shot mostly in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, between 2005 and 2011". In The Look of Silence I believe Adi says he's 44 years old and he was born in 1968, so that would mean the film was recorded 2012/13, presumably while The Act of Killing was in post-production.
