Domestic: $405
Worldwide: $915
I'm with you in that I don't find him all that funny, but I don't find him necessarily annoying like I did Darcy. Basically, he helps them meet the diversity quota without ruining the movie.
Total Domestic: $285M
World Wide: $660M
It's going to explode all over Queen's face!
Let's hope that BP2 answers that question!
With or without Fox, BV-Disney will still be 1000x more lucrative than WB and their horrendous DC cineverse. That much we can all agree on.
This week/weekend will be huge to for it's domestic momentum with both those films on the immediate horizon...but it will continue it's rampage internationally for the next 4-5 weeks with China launching this weekend.
Definitely a $2B WW contender, with a ~$650M domestic finish.
Keep in mind that a large portion of the audience for Marvel movies is 45+ (i.e. born in the late 60s/early 70s) and were close to Peter Parker's age when 'Aliens' came out. The irony is watching a kid say that and reminding them that it's something they would have said to their parents about a really old movie like 'Forbidden Planet.' So yeah, really old to a teenager, but hard for someone who was their age when it came out to accept.
Initially I thought perhaps the same thing, but the fact that it was the IG hand Rogers was resisting made me wonder ...well, perhaps I'm over-thinking it.
Well, in the Marvel universe he's a Class 100+
Unlike Hulk, who gets stronger the angrier he gets, Thanos does top out at some point.
In the movie scene where Thanos beats Hulk, we can assume that Hulk (for some reason) didn't get angrier once the fight began...perhaps he was in shock at how strong Thanos was, and he was knocked out before he could amp his strength.
I underestimated my opening weekend, but I'm still feeling good about my original Totals predictions:

Bingo!
Thanos was 95% CGI anyway, and Ron's voice would have made him a lot better imo.
He didn't say that explicitly...and while some out there may have inferred that from what he did say, I was the first to put it into words and post it on the interweb.
Don't be jelly; I'm just really good at this type of stuff. ;)

They completely deleted any mention of his obsession/fixation on Lady Death; and instead created alternate reason for eliminating half the life in the universe, and, making the part about Gamora being the only "soul" he truly loved, thus exchanging her for the Soul Stone.
I agree 100% with the above.
BOOM!
Just spit-balling, but perhaps simple foreshadowing? After all, pretty much everyone close to him ends up dying.
You're going to have plot hole or "oh, c'mon" type moments in EVERY super hero/comic book based movie ...or are you that dumb to think otherwise?
I'll stand pat with my original predictions on Rorikon's thread from a few weeks ago...
