Honestly, why train your rhinosceroses to fight and fit them out with vibranium plate armor, if you're not going to use them when aliens invade your country? With foot-soldiers who could easily be taken out by charging rhinos?
And it's not like Marvel couldn't afford a little extra CGI.

shareThe scripts were written around the same time so the Rhinos were probably not conceived at that point when IW started production. Plus they look like crap anyway
