Watched for the very first time last night Face pulverizing Soooooo.... [spoiler] I'm calling it right now (before having seen it) Stacked Cast Had the feel of a 90's television movie of the week Terrible lighting, way too dark I feel an updated version is warranted He looks like the English dude from the T-Mobile commercials Gordon and the Mahdi meeting up secretly View all posts >

^THIS^ ^THIS^ Just got back from the theater. Not gonna lie, this one wasn’t as good as the second one. There’s still plenty of gore, but none of it reaches the level of torture porn in the bedroom scene in T2. I also wasn’t a big fan of the demon in this one. Art is more than enough imo. One final note, there is a pretty big editing gap towards the end. Possibly scenes removed to shorten up the run time. Let’s just say some pretty big kills take place without being shown, except for the aftermath. Maybe the kills will be in the directors cut. I've seen that before ...LOVE IT She is how I picture Wonder Woman. by removing her face ...niiiiiice I agree 100% that it should've stayed contained in the arena, and whether he escapes the net or not being the big finish. They needed more going on inside the arena to make it shine...maybe incorporate his daughters ex-friend's mother into it, by having her get so angry at him she lies to the police that it could be him (not realizing it actually is him) and he has to deal with her and the police net simultaneously, or that she aids him unknowingly, but then he still kills her because of how her daughter treated his daughter. IDK, something like that could work. Regardless, they definitely should've focused on how/if he makes his escape without his daughter finding out the main plot. 5/10 for me. LOL, I thought you were going to point out that the negro wasn't killed off like 99% of them are in movies like this one. Just one of many inexplainable plot points in a movie riddled with them. Those, along with a mediocre ending, gives this a 5/10 for me. Cannot recommend, especially to those looking for what you might expect from M Knight when he's on his game, however, Hartnett's performance was decent. Sadly, I have to concur. Was really hoping Hartnett would elevate an amazing M. Night thriller and conclude with a mind-twist at the end ...and while his performance was solid, the script took too any liberties with my cognitive thought process. Oh, and the ending was nothing special and actually more like "seen this before" dribble. solid speculation View all replies >
