I found it slightly over rated given the IMDB score of 7.7. Its still a good popcorn movie though.

I found the "final act" of the film to be the weakest and as you said convoluted. Luc suddenly falling head of heels for Dusseldorf girl he only met for 5 seconds and then trying to kill her is a little unrealistic. I felt like the director wanted some "shock twist" and fell a little flat for me. Honestly i would preferred an open ending with Peters getting booked, but later found she was still alive, leading Chris to realise his brother to be the "accidental" cause of her murder. And then the film ending. Still enjoyed the film, despite its faults.

Both are pretty good, but Y Tu Mama Tambien had a much better ending, while Amores Perros had a better start.

Crash is manipulative overly dramatic trash. Amores Perros is much more raw although it still has some weaknesses like the drawn out Richie story.

Physically yes, Keanu is way more attractive. But i found Keanu more empty and boring in personality. He didn't have the spark and uniqueness of Jack.

I found the movie average, not bad not good 6.4/10 for me. Alot of the jokes fell flat for me, but my favourite the penis camera gag and most of Byrne's scenes were great. Laughing at the 95% RT score though.
