Because we can't write a good story!

Van Looy, you're a good director. You just need a good story/screenplay. So get busy!

I couldn't disagree more. Loft was quite well written, the storyline was surprising and entertaining to watch.
Belgian movies are rising up with good acting, good stories, good atmosphere,...
A new example of this trend is Bullhead (Rundskop).
I'm waiting impatiently for the next Van Looy, Roskam or other Belgian directors/writers (Jan verheyen not included).

I think it's a good movie - might not be a mind blowing mystery but still pretty decent and well directed...kept me on the edge of the seat the entire time...

I've only seen one belgian movie... this one. Pretty good i'll give a 6.6/10. Might download Bullhead
