As they say "He may be an a#*hole, but he's our a#*hole" I thought episode 3 was the best so far with some good twists. though it still does seem like it will be tough to fill a whole season. I was thinking that too because of (1) how they introduced the characters with their names shown on the screen, it is like we are watching a show/movie; and (2) I don't If they can make the premise last a whole season. there has to be some sort of change in direction at some point. unfortunately we got a Sierra story instead of Noah or Joanie. I don't think so. I read an article once where they said a lot of the first round runs take place at 2 or 3 in the morning as they have a lot of competitors. it would be cool if they had stage 3 and stage 4 live as there are only 20 or so competitors. although I wonder if they show the runs in a different order for dramatic effect. thank you, those dates make sense. I think she is haunted by the past and is trying to start fresh. don't think it is going to happen. yes, the actual dates of the timelines are hard to figure out. in the last episode Noah says it has taken him ten years to write his book and get it made into a movie. the first season aired in 2014 and if we use that as the starting point it would be 2014 in their present time. Joanie would be around 8 (born in 2005/6) so in 2053 she would be 49. She said that she is the same age as Allison when she died. which I thought was around 38. of course the starting point of the original story is not specifically stated and I don't think they ever reference any actual historical events to put a set time on it. but Cole is listed as being born in 1979. was he the same age as Allison? if so, I think they had Gabriel when they were in their early 20's. he was 3-5 when he drowned so that would have happened around 2005. I had the impression that the series started around 5 or so years after that as it took a few years for Allison to leave Cole. your are correct. I would rather see more than 5 minutes of joanie's story each episode. but too late to stop now. if they can't do it correctly, then you are correct. The Sense8 final movie was like that. agreed. I think what happened was that the Halloween II was so bad that it affected people's opinion on this one. not the best storyline, but the music they used every time Tench came home created great tension. I kept excepting the kid to come out carrying a knife. also, I liked how it made Tench question their own theories on how killers have the tendencies and signs from a very young age. he didn't want to believe they applied to his son. felt like I stepped into an episode of Black Mirror. Eddie would need to make an Alfred Hitchcock appearance in every episode. in real life Sheehan was on his 50's during the Hoffa times. Wikipedia does say there will be some scenes with DeNiro in his 30's. As stated previously, probably not many and not shown in the trailer. thank you. i'm going to have to watch the first episode just to see how bad it is. my son just had his college orientation a few weeks back and he told us about it and this episode came on and it was almost identical. i would like to think that even the most junior G-Man of all time could figure out that the person who benefited the most from the crime is most likely the one who committed it. great song, made me watch/listen to the credits. Agreed, my wife and I were crying during the restaurant scene. I will have to admit though I never felt a romantic vibe between Sasha and Marcus, great friend zone vibe though and great chemistry between the actors playing off of each other. I also liked how the movie didn't have that secondary friend character/actor that tries to steal the movie. The secondary characters/actors were great and they stayed where they belonged.
