Good guess wearsaian! Didn't think of that. Perhaps you're right. THAT would be interesting.
Or flak jackets for that matter.
I don't think that they're THAT identical to us in terms of biology & human bodily functions. Did you see how curious Dolores was when she saw that guy sweat? I'm guessing that's one of the things that the hosts "don't" do. So no it would seem that they're not identical to us in every facet.
Unless it's a atom bomb that can destroy the entire world like in "Beneath the Planet of the Apes". With the exception of that or a virus that was made by somebody I don't see how any single weapon even if it's another host can help her to stave off all of mankind.
I’m not exactly sure what you meant by that. Care to elaborate please? I’m referring to your last couple of sentences.
Fascinating stuff jriley. Can't thank you enough for the link. Great article, there's so much that just went over my head. To think it didn't make me think at all even to see that those guys were Chinese. It's just a show & I was entertained. Good stuff! Thanks again.
Sorry about that, I forgot or must have missed the part where he was reactivated & set loose, but thanks for the consideration in alerting me if you find out anything.
Most likely, but I think the warning signs are obvious if one cares to look. Don't you think it's more than curious as to why this documentary was NEVER repeated after it's initial showing on HBO, but you can still catch "Elvis: The Searcher" here & there throughout the week? Seriously, "Andre" was a one & done deal from the get go, but "Elvis" was good enough though a 2 parter to be shown off & on.
If you're the suspicious type, then I guess this confirms them. So very sad that this wound up being the case. HBO it seems knew better & that says a lot.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Yeah, this is what I heard also. I've missed the premier of the documentary & I have yet to catch it but I learned about it's shortcomings through this excellent article that I found online. This guy gave me the gist of it & based off of what he said I agree with him & mind you I have still yet to watch film.
Sad that they did Andre a disservice by this. I'm surprised they didn't do a better job, especially HBO but I don't think they were the ones who produced this.
But at least the Elvis documentary was on the money, at least I think so.

Great observation! Thanks.
Never meant to infer that it was merely a slap in the face that was done to her, I just had forgotten the details but thanks for the refresher.
I’m with you two. Agree wholeheartedly, nothing disappointing at all with this movie. As a matter of fact it succeeds tremendously in the fact that it’s a popcorn flick & doesn’t take itself more seriously than that. This was a fun & entertaining movie from start to finish & no the other characters weren’t lame.
Thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish, must have watched this on cable over ten times already. Good movie that delivers the goods in just being a good old fashioned monster flick. My only gripe is that Kong didn’t get to fight more/different monsters like the spider but other than this you just put this on & enjoy. Makes me wonder what the OP was looking for.
"Name a better psychological horror movie than this?"
You don't have the time to read the list of what I'll put up on here.
"Name a better psychological horror movie than this"
Sheesh. You haven't watched a lot of movies I see.
What do you mean "You will see no monsters here"? Based off the poster for this movie, Veronica seems like a vampire. In addition from the trailers it definitely looks like somethings wrong with her & you see a scene much like the poster or is that simply false advertising?
Is this simply a movie about a disturbed teen with no supernatural elements? I'd like to know.
Great observation! Couldn’t agree more.
Was pumped for this when I watched the end credits of "Kong Skull Island" The ending of that was leading up to "GKOTM" NOT "G vs KK" as some people claimed. I'm expecting to see that stinger at the end of Godzilla 2.
But I'm confused as I know that most of the monsters in this were friends, & not enemies, except for King G.
Well there was a movie where when they first met, Godzilla & Rodan squared off against each other with "The Thing" trying to mediate between the 2 in their fight. Then they all teamed up against King G. I'm guessing this is pretty much the story line of this one also.
Have to wonder if everyone else involved, "Mothra, Rodan, King G" will be re-rendered somewhat like Godzilla was. You know have more of a updated & "fresh" look. With modifications to their voices/sound effects as was done to Godzilla. We'll see I guess.
In order to answer that, think of the original "Jumanji" movie. After everything that happened to the main characters, when the game was finally completed Alan went back to being a kid again, because that's when he entered the game. The other two kids stayed in the present because that was their timeline when they started to play the game. That's how it works.
So that's what happened to Alex. He went back to 1996 when he first started the game. Just like Alan, he was around to "meet" the other players down the line when they arrived finally in his/our realty. When he finally caught up to them in his/our timeline. Understand?
That's the "Road Warrior" The 2nd & best of the Mad Max movies.
