It was my favorite Friday as a kid. Teen Wolf, Revenge of the Nerds I may watch it in a theater (I live next to one) but digital is more convenient, mainly because I can pause the movie. He never made another horror film after this. Steve Miner, Joseph Zito and Danny Steinmann This sucks, wishing for the best for him and his family. I liked the theatrical cut when I first saw it. One thing I remember is they don't show Lord Summerisle until Howie meets him, instead of that early scene at the inn. In the book he's younger (aged 27) and has a fiancée he nearly fucks before going to the island. Murder Rock is underrated. I thought it was a solid giallo, especially for late era Fulci. I'm glad I put off getting the blu ray they put out a few years back. Hard to pick just 5. Don't Torture a Ducking Zombi 2 Contraband The Beyond The New York Ripper While I like House (I like Richard Moll's performance) the second one is a bit more fun. I'll check this out. I never got around to watching the series. >Something related to him personally, maybe a sense of alienation? It may be that. Maybe it's because he grew up in Arizona and they have clear night skies and he liked Sci-Fi. I'd say Mean Streets, Taxi Driver and Goodfellas are his best with King of Comedy and After Hours being underrated. I like Vanilla Ice's Ninja Turtle rap better than anything Eminem did. https://youtu.be/R_K6971WmAs?si=Ev7KnzrlTGHLtZqa I thought it was better. I still like the movie as it's own thing though, since it's a John Carpenter film. I thought he was creepy when I saw this as a kid. He's comic relief in an otherwise grim movie and maybe he had fun doing it (getting to dress as a pimp, be drunk, etc.) He's awesome in The Fog and Halloween III, which is a classic, despite all it's haters.
