Is Oates jealous of Hall's successful show? What has Oates done lately? It's not as good but enjoyable as a B-movie comedy, like Howling III (same director). I like all of the hits so I won't mention those, but some album tracks that stand out to me are 2000 Light Years From Home, Dancing with Mr. D, Shattered, She's So Cold and She Was Hot. I wasn't surprised at all. Aren't they all 80 or older now? I'm looking forward to seeing it on streaming (for free, of course). While not as polished as other gangster films (including De Palma's own Carlito's Way) this film is a classic. The entire movie is quotable. Let's hope they don't make another one. Cats were the only pet I had. I always appreciated how self-reliant and how low maintenance they are, just pouring food and water, cleaning out a litterbox and giving pets and cuddles every now and then. Yes, only movies I really like, but I'm pissed off at buying blu-rays and then the 4k comes out a few years later. I've been streaming and torrentng movies I'm interested in but don't feel like owning on physical. I recommend The Front for a unique Woody Allen film, he just acted in it, not writing and directing, but it's as good as his directed movies. Also Stardust Memories. I agree. He's able to tell a good story in a short time. He's influenced by Ingmar Bergman who also usually made 90 min movies on average. Shorter running times are also one reason why I like horror as a genre. I can watch two movies in one night that way. Crimes and Misdemeanors The Purple Rose of Cairo Stardust Memories I haven't seen The Front mentioned, he was great in that even though he didn't write or direct it. A lot of you seem pretty pissy about taking a piss during the movie. When I saw Avatar 2 (another overly long movie) I saw several people, including young ones, going to take a piss. It'll probably do well after it comes out, out of people being curious, but I can see business dropping off. I don't know how popular musicals are. https://youtu.be/8w3HSvjLupI?si=2hABJ-pTMAlBUWwW Some good times with Coach Knight remembered and #1 in the video is epic. There goes the argument of the Native actress who was bitching that the film was shit or whatever she said in the other thread. I enjoyed some of the disco music in it. Yes and I watched it last night. I like film's the countdown to Halloween day and it seems more fun, like a R-rated feature length episode of Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark. It is unusual he feels that way since he's a fan of old Hollywood epics like Ben-Hur and the like. Every time I see an old school celebrity trending on here I assume they're dead.
