I enjoyed this interview with Lavey on the Joe Pyne show from 1967, I think. Most of the comments about the video are supportive of Lavey and negative towards Joe Pyne who acts like an asshole throughout the interview. It's interesting to me that Pyne and the guests treat him like a total joke and not as some scary spooky guy at all.
80's horror films are as good or better than 70's horror films though you could argue that the early 80's was similar to the 70's (the first and second Friday the 13th films or Halloween II).
I like Kiss. They have catchy, fun rock songs. I like Gene Simmons bass playing on the songs he played on. He has good lines and a crunchy, thick bass tone. To me they seem to be the blueprint to 80's hair metal, which I also like and a lot of people hate.
I read rumors of Ben Carson also Tucker Carlson.
I read the first two books (Wardrobe and Prince Caspian). I have the entire series, I should read them all.
post 90's meaning modern cartoons (Rick and Morty and all that shit)
Card games
Modern literature
Modern cartoons (post 90's)
That'd been funny.
Glad I held off buying the expensive, out of print book floating around.
No one.
Where'd you buy it? I also love Italian B-movies.
I liked how at the end each of the characters had their own solo spotlight segment in defeating the bad guys.
I saw it again recently, with a nice audio set up, and I enjoyed it more than I did as a kid, especially John Williams' score.
Return of the Jedi wasn't bad (bitching about Ewoks notwithstanding). Revenge of the Sith is considered the best prequel film. Star Trek III: The Search for Spock was a success. The Last Crusade was also great (better than the two newer Indiana Jones films).
An old horror film called "New Year's Evil".
Empire is a great movie in general, 1-3, 4 and 6 are great Star Wars movies.
I like 1-6. The prequels are a little iffy, but miles better than the shit that Disney put out. Return is underrated, it has moments as seriously dramatic as Empire (the Luke, Darth Vader and Emperor scenes).
Added CGI, changed songs, what happens in scenes, etc. The only way to watch the unaltered versions is a bootleg torrent, or old out of print media (DVD, VHS).
If you watch the OT, which I recommend, watch the Lucasified Special Editions first. They're easier to obtain and I want to see someone's impression of the films without being pissed off about the changes Lucas made.
The ending they went with is one of the only good things about this.
