I think Up in Smoke had their best movie moments (especially the beginning when Cheech picks up the busty hitchhiker Chong), but the second film is their funniest from beginning to end. The early 80s marked the end of when the inmates were running the Hollywood asylum, but a great period of time it was for movies. Lots of creative freedom that you don't see so much these days.
Season 1, especially, was a very clever inversion of the characters we saw from the '84 film. The writers ran out of good ideas very quickly, especially when the focus shifted to the teens and their daily dramas. Johnny being an out-of-place 80s guy trying to give his life meaning in the 21st century was the heart of the show, along with the original Karate Kid turning into a smarmy ass.
What, do you buy lunch and launder shirts for the cast and crew and are desperately hoping for Season 7? You're more hostile and toxic than most of the criticisms on this forum. So stop being a blubbering vagina and belching out phony righteous indignation.
This is a flaw in the film because, what, Peter Willis was secretly a pornstar in his spare time?
When was Jason Reitman ever in good form? I don't think he's a bad director by any means, but for the most part a bland product of Hollywood nepotism.
I agree that the first sketch was not good at all. However, after that there dozens upon dozens in the first 5 years that were comedy gold. My favorite was the Sodom Chamber of Commerce brainstorming about how to improve their city's reputation.
Her only base consists of neocons with government influence, not regular people. It's remarkable how Democrats have embraced her. Democrats have become the Republicans I used to hate in the 1980s for their crass warmongering.
It is a great movie, a very unusual entry in the film noir genre in my view. I'd just never much thought up the post-mortal narration before. You also get that in "Carlito's Way" among other films.
Mad was still good throughout the 80s. William Gaines, the original brains behind the operation, died in 1992 and was likely losing steam years before that. Add to this the aging of Al Jaffee, Mort Drucker, etc, and you have the reason for Mad's decline.
Why not? People get excoriated for making the "ok" sign with their fingers and having it interpreted as a white power sign. If those are going to be the rules then let 'er rip on Beyonce. For the promotion of gang violence, she should lose all her endorsement deals and every concert venue should cancel her permanently.
There are 1440 minutes in a day. She's a slacker. She could've serviced 288 guys.
Try laying off the lysergic acid and you might have a different opinion.
The artistic shelf life of hip hop had already expired by 2000. By then it was dogshit replacing a different style of dogshit.

I think Romans were multicultural, they had to be due to the vastness of the Roman empire.

It's one thing for relatively dark skinned immigrants to have been accepted as citizens, but as candidates for emperor? They would've bumped their heads on a very low glass ceiling.
When I heard Cori Bush got the boot my first thought was, "I wonder what the successful challenger's stance is toward Israel?" Sure enough, Wesley Bell has made numerous statements that make it clear he's a complete shill for Israel. Imagine that. What a coincidence.
Spot on. Not only that, but in a continued American effort to shield Israel from criticism (1984 style) the US Congress wastes its time passing declarations that officially expand the definition of anti-Semitism to include criticism of Israel. Even US congressmen and senators themselves aren't worthy of such protection (never mind conservative supreme court justices). The bill was written so broadly that a government titsucking lawyer would have no problem arguing that calling Netanyahu a war criminal would qualify as "anti-Semitic" speech, should the US government decide to go after you. And all of this having the purported motivation to protect the massive escalation of hate crimes against Jewish students on college campuses (a lie). Of course, the real motivation is to suppress as much as possible any political dissent that doesn't coincide with the US government's narrative of the day.
Who knows what's the truth. Given the amount of venom Blake's fangs sink into Guercio, it is strange he was willing to work with him in any capacity whatsoever. Guercio produced the 1981 film "Second-Hand Hearts" starring Mr. Robert Blake himself.

Are you TMC's Mama? If thats what he was trying to convey, he should use his big boy words and not leave it ambiguous by only posting links with no susbatance.

Since TMC's point couldn't have been more clear, I was going to be less polite and say you're an illiterate retard for not understanding its relevance, or maybe comment that lazy assholes like yourself should get informed. I regret my initial decision.

Not sure what your gripe is.

What's your gripe in the first place? That SNL is politically biased? If so, then TMC-4 is supporting your point. The FCC rule is all about preventing this sort of political bias on American radio and television networks.

And lets not forget the f****g insurcetion started last time.

The "insurcetion." Lol. It's amazing how dumb the people are who peddle this fiction that January 6 was an insurrection. Do you purposefully sound ignorant just to make yourself sound more real, or are you really that much of a tool?
