I just went back and watched their first three movies again. Man, forgot how much I loved those when I was a young stoner.

I think Up in Smoke had their best movie moments (especially the beginning when Cheech picks up the busty hitchhiker Chong), but the second film is their funniest from beginning to end. The early 80s marked the end of when the inmates were running the Hollywood asylum, but a great period of time it was for movies. Lots of creative freedom that you don't see so much these days.
