My condolences. Not much of a GD fan myself, but I feel your pain. I hadn't realized that Lesh had any involvement with Apocalypse Now.
The rock death that hit me the hardest was Joe Strummer back in 2002.
If anyone is actually looking forward to seeing The Penguin in what is nominally his show, don't bother with episode 4. Just more girl-centric bullshit at the expense of the main character.
I don't buy it either. A similar situation occurred when Lou Reed released the execrable "Metal Machine Music" in 1975. Rumors abounded that he recorded this unlistenable heap of noise as a big FU to RCA records. Reed denied that, stating (plausibly) that he'd never record a purposefully lousy record just to make a negative statement about someone or other. As for Phillips, I believe that he didn't want to do a Joker sequel. When he was made an offer he couldn't refuse for a project he didn't care about, he decided to take a risk and do something completely unexpected and didn't care as much as he normally would whether audiences would respond favorably to it.
The problem with that theory in the USA is that it's women (especially younger women without children) who form the backbone of the Democratic Party base. If communist sympathies lie anywhere in the USA it's there. More generally these days, young men are leaning Republican, and Republicans exploit "communists are all around us" like no other.
Now young women have evolved into giving it up to older guys for their money.
Even quicker than Atkins nailing Ellie in Halloween III. The man deserves respect. He's the star of The Fog and doesn't even get top 3 billing!
Well done. I'm in 100% agreement. Because of the 1919 scandal, baseball has been unique among professional sports in emphasizing that gambling on pro games is a cardinal sin. It's so well known it's impossible for any pro player to claim ignorance, or to cite nuances in the rules that confused them (an oft-used defense for those testing positive for HGH or steroids). No excuses. Rose was really dumb not getting down on bended knees and begging forgiveness from day one of his outing.
Maybe now that she's thrown her hat into the political ring and revealed what we've all been waiting for with such feverous anticipation (who she's supporting for president) she'll start getting interesting roles again. This was, presumably, the purpose of pimping her idiotic viewpoint that "abortion is on the ballot" (which it isn't). As if anyone of much significance in modern day Hollywood would advocate any other choice...
You answered and you have indeed helped me. You are therefore wrong.
As with many things, with trolling less is more.
He must be hard up for work. What he has done over the last 15 years has been garbage. Washed up, looking for a payday, and probably doing exactly what he is told.

Conspiracy nonsense. I don’t know what you’re saying, and more importantly I don’t think you do either. You’re basically declaring that Pfizer, Moderna and the others made placebos.

No, I'm saying that the pharmaceutical companies as well as the federal government lied about the efficacy of the covid vaccine. Biden himself stated that if you're vaxxed then you don't get covid and you don't spread it, both of which turned out to be recklessly false. Despite the covid "vaccine" not really being a vaccine at all, but rather a therapeutic that's only really effective or even necessary for a small segment of the population, people were fired and shamed for refusing to take this bogus vaccine, or even for uttering a peep of protest about it online (see the Twitter files). You just have no clue what you're talking about. Whether Trump would've continued the disastrous policies that the Biden government actually implemented will never be known. But that was all under Biden's watch.
It's sounds like being happy discovering that the dogshit you stepped in was less squishy than you initially estimated.
Nah, but if they were then no more than yours are. Really I was just compelled to point out that Black's gesture of canceling the tour and acting like it was his decision was a fake one.
What I don't quite understand is the motivation to reboot a show that younger audiences at the time didn't care about and who today never heard of the show in the first place. If they're trying to rekindle the fond memories of senior citizens, they're the least likely to be accepting of major changes to the format, even if they do like Kathy Bates.
If you like Kathy Bates you'll love At Play in the Fields of the Lord, in which you get to see Bates twerking her blubber completely in the buff. One of the most amusing things about that film, which a couple of the characters do point out, is how Aidan Quinn was hitched to Kathy Bates while John Lithgow scored Daryl Hannah.
Financing? We got AI baby. I'm still trying to decide whether Elliott Rockford's father should be played by Bruce Jenner or Chaz Bono. Stay tuned.
When do we get the Rockford Files reboot with Ellen Page as Elliot Rockford?
Not playing the same character, but using the same surname to wrangle in the last dozen or so non-discriminating television viewers at the assisted living facility who might remember the original.
Relax, sport. No need to have a chemical meltdown. Black agreed with what his bandmate said. If he was as offended as he later pretended to be once he descended into career-saving mode, he would've indicated so on the spot, prior to realizing all the backlash.
