The Whisperers are different because they have the ZA equivalent to nuclear weapons. They don't fight to control other groups, if they see a group to be a threat, they just want them gone. they ran away at the first sign of trouble like the little bitches they are Fear ran double episodes on the premiere and finale nights, so both half-seasons ran for only 6 weeks each. It was done that way to avoid Game of Thrones. If season 4 is anything like season 3, they would do better to make it a fall show and air it on a weeknight. TWD will be a different show after the All Out War arc is over. It looks like they are using Carl to make that transition because they're spending a lot of time on those scenes where he argues with Rick about what their way of life should be, how they treat each other, etc. Alexandria was burned down but they're not going to leave like they did at the prison, they're gonna come back and rebuild it. Fear season 3 I thought was better than some seasons of the main show. they really stepped up their game, but Scott Gimple is going to be the showrunner for season 4. I started reading the comics around the beginning of season 6 and it really helped me understand why certain things are done on the show. It's not exactly the same, mainly the characters are switched around, but there are some parts that are word for word straight from the comics. And then some other things they do to recreate the look and feel, like the speech of Ezekiel being a narration of a story that ends in a heartbreaking fashion. The thing they are doing with the faces is done quite a bit in the comics as well. The stuff that is original to the TV show, for the most part I like, but kinda mixed on the Beth in the hospital story and the W's were like a plot they decided to stop developing and just dropped them. I doubt they'll do a cure, they'll just start finding dead people who should have turned but didn't. Then discover babies being born immune. There are some indications they plan to overhaul the show for season 9, and some of the recent interviews they talk about it starting in the next 8 episodes. Instead of surviving, they will start rebuilding society. The comic version looks a lot like the 1850's- log houses, horses and wagons, etc. And some of them fish on the ocean. It happened off-screen in a previous episode, when he and Siddiq were fighting some of them off. Shane would have X'ed that dude out no problem, and probably should have back in season 1, just to save Rick and Daryl the future trouble. They have whatever they got from the oceanside group, plus a machine shop and all the stuff they need to make more. Negan took that shop over when he got Eugene, but as long as they are trapped inside their base, Rick has access to it. The ammo shop is a strategic target, and should be featured in one of the upcoming episodes. Yes they need to keep some strong fighters at Alexandria because if Negan gets out of the zombie swarm too quickly, that's the first place they're going to attack. Yeah, I have a feeling it will go down a lot like that. They went through the trouble of having Morgan build the cell, they can just have Rick put him in the cell and forget about him for most of the episodes since only he (and maybe a couple others) knows about it. Whatever they do in future episodes would depend on how much and for how long JDM wants to stay involved with the show. But they could go a whole season and have just 2 or 3 Negan scenes before they either have to write him out or bring him back into the main cast. It's hard to tell because some of these scenes are not happening chronologically, but I'm pretty sure Rick tells his people at the beginning of the war that once they made the initial offer to surrender and give Negan up, any Savior is fair game. And he knew they weren't going to just up and surrender. It's the reason he got so many people to join- so they can exterminate this group for what they've done. When Jesus tries to stop them, he is going against the original plan and that's why they start arguing about it. It is very burdensome and dangerous to take prisoners, so why do it? The Saviors have been told that Rick is psycho, he and his people will kill them all or do even worse things to them if he's not stopped. If they give up, they believe they will be going from a bad situation to a worse one, or at least the same one. What Jesus is trying to do is show them they're not the same and by doing so, offer them their humanity back. Pretty much exactly what he said to Morgan. There are some clues already that this is where the show is going with it. Ezekiel's group is doing things that other way and it's not working out so well for them. There will be some situation where Rick realizes he can't win the war, and then a bunch of Saviors defect because they realize the people they are fighting against are not the same. And Rick is slowly changing his attitude towards them as well. Daryl saw first hand how the Saviors operate, and he believes they are too far gone. He saw that cell and dog food sandwiches in the previous episode and it reinforced his belief. I'm guessing near the end, something will happen to change his mind as well. He started questioning his beliefs when he had to kill a guy to save Carol. When he was at The Kingdom, he realized as long as there are people like the Saviors, he will have to keep making exceptions. So his philosophy is tainted. When he started training the kid, he saw it as a chance to start over. Morgan might be tainted, but he can train this kid right, to stay true to the teachings. When the kid died, it caused him to snap again. Ironically, he now fights against Jesus and is so lost in himself that he doesn't realize he is fighting against his former self, or the person he wanted for the kid to become. What it looks like they are doing with the story is setting up these conflicts between the main characters because the war will eventually end, and there will still be a lot of Saviors who survive who have to be dealt with peacefully. Yes, there are a lot of assholes in that bunch, but we also see in this episode and the previous one that Saviors have their own conflicts. Some of them really didn't want to fight back. My favorite as well. A lot of stuff packed into one of the shortest episodes. Arya comes home and 3 Starks at Winterfell. Sparring session with Brienne, Jon and Theon at Dragonstone. I liked the finale too. Not as much as last year's, but they managed to get almost all the main cast in the same place. Notice everyone in that first 20 minutes or so gets at least 1 line. No, but the censors do. Though I've noticed on Mr. Robot they say a lot of fucks; on the US broadcast, the sound is cut when they do, but on the Canadian broadcast it is unaltered. It's not just slipping one here and there, it's like every other line. This is the Negan introduction scene they did for the blu-ray, almost verbatim from the comics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRljxMsb-30 there's a rumor that one of the episodes will go into Negan's backstory, but it might be in the 2nd half of the season. And the full Negan experience is sorta ruined because they can't have him drop f-bombs on TV. If they stick to the comics,
Gabriel will die an even more horrific death than Glenn or Abraham.
He definitely would be open to getting back together with her. He blames Negan more than Sherry, it's a big part of why he is turning against him. I think she was just overcome with guilt for what Dwight had to go through to keep her alive. They had plans to flee and meet back at their house. When she left, Dwight was at the point where he was ready to go with her. But she felt she was not worthy anymore, she didn't want to be the reason something else happens to Dwight.
