Saw the BluRay version today, and in the end, all i could think, is that they could have just brought Superman back to life and make him do all the work, because, they were no team at all, with a few punches he could have killed Steppenwolf's bug droid army and than punch him into the ground to dust and pull the boxes apart with Cyborg. Only he was needed in the end.
Welcome to 2018, where everyone thinks their opinion on the internet should be heard.
I'm willing to bet, that if the family was black in the original tv and animation series or just Judy Robison, and for the reboot were/was white, SJW's would loose their shit and would be protesting the show.
your posts show you are racist yourself.
Well, you were wrong there with yesterdays episode, Eugene personally checked every bullet to see if they were correct and even was on its way to fire some to see how well they performed.
I cant even remember one kind in this show who was not a annoying dumbass character. Like wtf Henry? This kid picks up what looked like a AR15, and nobody in that entire house saw him going outside with it?
Jared indeed killed Henry's brother, Benjamin:
From the episode "Bury Me Here":
"Jared is present for the exchange with Gavin and their fellow Saviors. He is playing around with Morgan's stick, waiting for the Kingdommers to show up. When the guns are raised, he aims his weapon at Richard and when given permission by Gavin to take someone out, he turns his gun and shoots Benjamin."
She was the only one out of all the people who got hit with a infected weapon who did not turn or was having a fever, so its a straight bet she is not infected.
This entire episode was stupid writing, the entire group of Saviors that had 3 trucks with lights on them and they just lost 3 Saviors?
And than at night, when they knew they had injured people, who could possibly die and turn, they let NOBODY take guard duty? Literally NOBODY was guarding the place??
The only reason why this movie is doing well, is because it was pretty much a blaxploitation movie, suddenly everyone loves the movie even though from the trailers i could already see how poorly made this movie was. But as soon you say anything negative about this movie, you get called a "racist". I was not impressed with this movie at all, neither were my kids i took with me, CGI was poorly done as well. It's just another generic Marvel action movie, and im not gonna fake my opinion with this movie by praising it just because it has a almost all black cast. Where were all these praises for Marvel's Luke Cage?
The show is originally about how Gordon became chief, but the inclusion of other characters showed there was allot of interest in them.
He's already working on Ocean's 8 and producing 3 movies in 2018, and he basically always did 2 or 3 movies a year. He will be fine.
Don't forget, in the ice cream scene, he had the undercover ATF agent in his house, his kid probably had gotten the rod if he was not there. So he made it look like he does not even hit his kids or others in the house. Those were one of the charges they put on Koresh, that he (also sexually) abused kids.
The show is based on former FBI agent Gary Noesner's book, Stalling for Time: My Life as an FBI Hostage Negotiator. I have not read it, but there is a very big chance he described it in the book, maybe someone can who has read the book.
Its indeed a panderfest to the 90's, as a teenager in the 90's, many of the things what we saw the kids using or playing with, that were typical 90's toys or hypes, were not a thing the next year anymore, like the tye dye shirts, that was really early 90's like 1990, if you walked around with those in 1996 you would have made fun off. The slap bracelets is also something i can only remember being a hype in the early 90's.
It just felt like they just researched some toys and hypes from the 90's and threw it all together and said; "Tada!! It's the 90's!"
I also did not get a real 90's vibe for me, but that could be because everyone has their own telling of how it was, like in the 90's over here in Europe, electronic music was incredibly big. Rock was bigger in the States.
The original indeed had more realism, and more suspense, like how the ships just hovered over the cities for a long time. The alien tech being used made it not look like it was set in a world of today, but in another universe. Allot did not make sense, like why did they think firing the big lien laser they build on the moon to the ship would work when they knew that in 1996 they first injected a virus into the ship's system to get rid the shields.
Also the alien ship just plowing through the moon and earth makes no sense, this ship came from many systems away and it just flew through planets and moons? CinemaSins did a good video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bA4_G2Otw9s
They said the same about the original Blade Runner, it got mixed reactions but grew into a cult classic. They are saying the same stuff about this move just as they did for the original:
"Misunderstood when it first hit theaters, the influence of Ridley Scott's mysterious, neo-noir Blade Runner has deepened with time. A visually remarkable, achingly human sci-fi masterpiece."
This now applies to both movies.
If anyone would have looked at OP's comment history, you could tell his is nothing but a underage troll who doesn't know shit about movies. A big part of his threads are: "this sux!" It just sucks in your simple minded view because it did not have constant action or sex in it. Rottentomatoes has the movie at a rating of 87% for the critics and 81%. IMDB has it at 87% for its audience score. That it's still at this rating after months of its release shows you this movie did not suck, your opinion just sucks.
he also said recreational drugs.
Gotta love Eugene who developed a alcohol addiction from drinking just one bottle of wine.
