They were the best part of the movie.
That and the jail cell scene are the creepiest parts of the movie.

I prefer the iconic hockey mask, but I can definitely see how the burlap sack could be considered creepier.
He may not have technically been a full fledged zombie until the sixth film, but I always considered him a supernatural character. He survived several things that no ordinary human could well before he was resurrected from the grave.

The nasty, cruel, and mean-spirited tone this movie has is what made me fall in love with it all those years ago.
I always thought Liev Schreiber would make a great Harvey Dent.
