And you for some reason start thinking back to your childhood when you almost drowned? Shes like "Oh my really nice teacher whos a good friend is burning in there, but oh look this small burning pool of water reminds me when i almost drowned as a child" then completely forgets about her burning alive in the cop car and starts bitching at her uncle for almost letting her drown 10 years ago.

Well, my mind tends to wander when I'm watching the flames of a log fire...but yeah it's kind of a different scenario when someone close to you is burning to death..!

Although isn't Rennie still drugged at this point by those two junkies who stick her with the needle? Maybe that could go a ways to explaining why she's so zoned out?
