Yep, agreed on that one.
SOunds good - thanks for the info on Yacht and SIrius.
Actually I haven't.
One has no kids. One is not a tranny. It isn't anything I pay attention to.
This aside, if you don't mind, can you be more specific???
"forcing trans sh*&^%t on children?"
How can you perform such a surgery on a child without the consent of the parents???
Thanks to Andy and 4L.
4L has got me zoning in on 1970s music. You can't beat actual musicians and actual singers that actually sing and actually play, LOL.
With that in mind, one more off topic - plus I need to pipe up here to start working out. This 1970s band, I love em. I think they're very underrated. They've got a ton of music one enjoys. This track happens to be my fave. IF you two get a chance, let me know what you think....

Well, one question....
WHy does anyone care what a tranny does?
It's their life, their business. If someone wants to do that to themselves, hey - have at it.
Same applies for me, if I have something I want to do surgically - it isn't anyone else's business.
Frankly, one could care less about transsexuals. A personal message to trannies: Do as you please, it's your life.
LOL - good one
Hey 4L - this is off topic, but fun just the same. I was out running errands, caught this one on the radio.
Another terrific 70s track. See what you think......

Yes , but do you know the additional reason as to why so many people are walking around in pajamas and tee shirts these days??
It's to avoid massive amounts of....

I don't know what he does with it.
I never mentioned it in our subsequent discussions.
There's actually another reason a lot of people wear pajamas while they're out and about.
There's no static at all.....

One liked his brief parts in......
"No Country for Old Men"
and
"Get Out"
Well, guess one is in the minority.
She doesn't do a thing for me.
That aside, I wouldn't call the series useless. It was ok.
I've seen several much better.
Just to add, in fact I do wear pajamas all the time.
It was unusual at first. I'm now starting to notice plenty of others doing the exact same thing.
So, maybe what you do will catch on. ANd people looking at you sideways now, may eventually follow your lead.
Ok I just changed my previous answer because it wasn't clear.
Yes, indeed - wear whatever works for you, whatever makes you happy.
ANyone's else's view on the matter is irrelevant.
"Do you wear a coat when you go out and it's cold outside if you will be going straight from your house to your car and then your car into a building?"
If in fact it's cold, one wears a thermal hooded sweatshirt jacket.
"I hate wearing coats and almost never do if I won't have to spend a considerable amount of time outside. They get bunched up and then you have to figure out where to put them when you go somewhere that you can't hang them up."
Makes sense
"I get fussed at or have comments made a lot."
Al that matters is you wear whatever it is that works for you. If someone else doesn't like it - who cares?
Not really, some people need evidence to believe.
Even Jesus Christ - there is not a single shred of contemporary evidence such a man existed.
In my view, his story being based on a person that actually existed is a 50/50.
It's just as likely Paul made up the entire story, as did the 4 writers of the gospels many years later.
And just so you know, when Paul did mention "Jesus" - whomever it was, it was 20 years since his death. This was practically a generation in those days. IOW, it's very possible everyone Paul knew 20 years prior was gone - thus no one could challenge what he wrote. This among many other reasons is why his entire story could have (in reality) existed only in his imagination.
He was at his apex from when he first came up in 1985 - until he beat Michael Spinks in 1988.
He wasn't just beating other fighters, he was destroying them. Looked like he would never lose. He won two more fights after Spinks, then came the absolutely shocking defeat at the hands of Buster Douglas.
From there it was a downward spiral. Ultimately he became a joke.
The only other person I know of that had a bigger downfall is OJ Simpson - that's how huge Tyson was in his heyday.
However, having said that, I'm glad you had the chance to see a Tyson fight, albeit a decrepit version of what he once was.
Hahah, I already know where this is going and I'm not doing it.
Believe whatever it is you believe, one is not here to argue about it.
Good point. I don't know how it went in real life - maybe the officer was overanxious.
If you keep telling someone "Stop or I'll shoot!" - and they keep running - and you know (if you're the officer) a fugitive is on the loose. Well, then firing makes sense.
On the other hand from my own experience, I've had nervous, overanxious officers pull guns on me twice.
SO who knows, maybe some idiot pulled his gun and fired without thinking - then just got lucky it happened to be the prison escapee he hit.
BTW I thought this mini-series was excellent.
I don't know about the "good singing voice"...
However, funny flick.
ALways loved the Ben Stein scene.
ALso - "BACK OFF MONKEY BOY!"
One watched a bit of it a couple weeks ago - still makes me laugh.
I believe he is more known for being a drunken idiot.
Was he a good actor? One doesn't really know.
To me he is just another drunk.
Everyone won.
It is absolutely shocking to me, I read yesterday, 65 million people watched this "fight".
One is astonished.
Why would anyone bother with this garbage?
But, hey, Tyson won, Paul won, NETFLIX won, not to mention future absurd "fights" won.
I imagine the next one will be PPV.
