Thanks, didn't know this existed!
The link is dead.
Pacino would've made a great Willard too, he can be calm and quiet yet project an intense observance.
I don't know maybe you're just reaching? From the rumors, Pitt was supposed to last a couple of Seasons with Buscemi's character eventually to be revealed as his father. But substance abuse problems were supposedly the root of the problems with Pitt. If it's true, too bad because I like Pitt as an actor and loved Boardwalk Empire's first 2 seasons, it really went downhill after he died. Season 3 was only good because of Cannavale.
Will there be a season 3 even?
I imagine its as different to standard Italian as the Sicilian language is.
Scarface isn't a Mafia film, they're not Italians but Cubans.
I don't think he looks like De Niro but I did notice his voice was that of Vito Corleone. It might be affected though as he was a fan of Scarface and dressed like Tony Montana, so he might very well be a fan of TGF too.
Lol. I see both Pete Townsend and Adrian Brody.
I agree, the subtitles of the Gomorrah I have is white with a subtle black outline.
He directed DWW and invested a lot into making that film happen yet according to you it's good not because if him.
Then you haven't seen enough of Pacino's films if you really believe that.
He was great in:
Manglehorn
Phil Spectre
You Don't Know Jack
I thought s1mone and this film are ok. 88 Minutes is his worst 00s film IMO.
Did not know that and now I want to watch Secret of the Incas.
LOL, I guess but perhaps we do have different temperaments.
Don't get me wrong I don't consider you either a hater or a troll.
But how much can someone who hates a film talk about that hatred to someone who loves it? & how much can someone who loves a film talk about that love to someone who hates it?
Also, written conversations are apt to miscommunication too, so perhaps such disagreements serve actual oral conversation much better? Because tone is as much important as what you say/write isn't it?
Besides I guess I do get tired dwelling on something I hate, it saps me of energy though I like the idea of talking about one's differences.
Thing is some of the haters on this site or IMDB, I don't think all of them just hate to spite others who love it. I believe that there are people who get revitalized from talking about what they hate, the opposite of me I guess. That's not you btw, I hope you don't think I'm accusing you of that.
As for discussing differences, I don't mind really but earlier I had misconstrued this:
-------
So just proves again that people sometimes see something totally different,
" but lets respectfully agree to disagree :) Thanks, I enjoyed your viewpoint."
----------
^^^....as a dismissal of the conversation as perhaps I was too passionate about my love of a film you didn't care for.
I admittedly can get passionate when I really like or love something btw. LOL!
Hmmm... These age films I found similar bit they may not have all the elements you want:
Ordinary People
About a Monster
Guarding Tess
Rocky 1 & 6
Creed
Kramer vs Kramer
Driving Miss Daisy
Rain Man
There King's Speech
Slumdog Millionaire
Signs
My Sassy Girl (2001)
Il Mare
A Moment to Remember
Out of Africa
A Walk to Remember
The Champ
Yes, I found that scene utterly despicable too.
That's true. Instead of asking or wanting a friend like Cheadle, we should strive to be him as a friend to someone.
I thought it was the snl skit with martin sheen, where can I find that?
Thanks.
