So - did you like it? So what? Dragon Tattoo (orig) and Dragon Tattoo (Eng) were almost identical. I enjoyed them both. No, not just you. The whole thing was dark, tragic, funny - sometimes all at the same time. 'Those fucking Indians!' A) I really liked it. It wasn't totally funny, it was a quirky mix and just hit that strange middle place, kinda like Fargo or Three Billboards. Very well done. B) 'Fuck those Indians!' (favorite line) C) When White Bull was smiling on the mountain with his hands upraised and then begins to cry... that really got to me. Thank you very much! Nope. Worse than that. Watching this film is self-inflicted torture. I had to use subtitles for your comment. This movie is in my top 10. Ha - let 'em try to cancel it. This movie is far too loved and Clint Eastwood far too beloved for that to happen. Like trying to cancel Blazing Saddles - just not gonna happen. Very nice comment. I wish Moviechat had upvotes, cause you'd get one. Yeah, you're the only one. I loved his character. He stays the same, and yet he also changes. And I loved his interactions with Sue. And even with the grandmom. What do you mean 'according to the cop'? What did the cop say? He was cavalier because he knew he was dying anyway. So no bulletproof vest needed. If anything it was a way to go out quickly and mercifully rather than dying a slow painful death of whatever disease was killing him. And accomplish something necessary in the process. Agreed. I found her character repulsive. And yes, SF was miscast. Huh - that wasn't clear. The DA didn't know about the checks? How was that made clear that he didn't know? So what was his motivation in making a statement to clear PN? Just his desire to have PN help him in his investigation? Agreed - both those points bothered me as well. Agreed - dye his hair and make him 50 or leave him as 56 and write the part that way. Either way, SF seems too young for him. She played 34 going on 12. I thought her character was so repellent in so many ways that there was just no getting past it. Take all that away, and you have a grown woman who acts like a 12 year-old girl. Nope. Yes, he was great. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - either version. Saying this from memory - that the island landscape was prominently featured, but not totally sure.
