Their answer to you is deleted. What did they say? So are you saying that in the book, Rusty knows from the beginning who the real perp was? Would you please be so kind to change the title of your post? You may not think that it qualifies as a spoiler, but for some people, it will be, unfortunately. Something like 'A question about the ending (SPOILERS)' would be much nicer for people who have not seen the movie yet. It didn't spoil it for me, but it will for (at least some) others. Thank you on their behalf. Nice review. Totally agreed about Zack Gottsagen, he really did well, and basically carried the movie (even more than Shia and Dakota, imho). It was no 'free pass'. He earned it. The doctor just saved him from losing all that he had fairly earned. Actually, more fairly than others who had their genes manipulated from before conception. The flames were so massive that it's likely he just bleeped out. No time to feel anything. Also his medal shows two people swimming - symbolic of anton and vincent competing (or maybe even him and vincent - achieving together...) You're welcome. Tell me what you think. Agreed. ResQ-Link FTW! Yes he did and yes he was. Agreed!! Not as good - not at all. It's okay, but it will never be Gran Torino. Fvck IMDB - I keep as far away from them as possible. They betrayed the movie community. It seemed clear that it was a middle finger to PC-ness in general, if not film-critics in particular. Agreed. It was okay, but kept on comparing it to Gran Torino in my head. Didn't compare. I kind of agree with you, but Clint was making a point about words being okay for one generation, but verboten for the next. It clearly bothers him, and it's his movie, so he gets to do that, whether we agree or not. It was Clint's way of giving the finger to PC-ness. By using a word that was once completely mainstream, not negative and totally acceptable, but now is not. I'm with you on that. Wow -that went by so fast, I didn't even really hear it. Thought I heard something about 'murder' but it was so disconnected to the scene and what had transpired before, that I figured I heard wrong, and maybe it was 'murderous drug dealers' or something. Man - that IS a big plot-hole. Do hope the extended cut is not so deficient. Unrated director's cut. That would be fun. An already fun movie, on steroids.
