Two words: CLINT EASTWOOD. It would be just another B list movie if it weren't for him. I get that Clint Eastwood is a legend in the film industry, but this movie doesn't warrant being in the IMDB Top 250. First of all, the acting from the younger Asian boy, the younger Asian girl, and the Asian gang members were absolutely atrocious. The stereotypes and racial epithets were uncalled for. Why was Tao so scared of the gang he was involved with from the get go? You can't be scared in any gang. There were so many question marks about this movie.
You're the garbage man No I just take out the trash
Depends upon your definition of good. I think Clint has a better grasp of that as an actor than most do, so for him to cast people in one of his movies, I doubt he's just going to cast bad actors.
Will they ever win awards? Probably not. Are they better than Dolph Lundgren, Arnold, Wil Ferrell, Megan Fox etc? Yes.
Why was Tao so scared of the gang he was involved with from the get go?
It was even more baffling why they were even trying to harass him to join the gang. He brought nothing to the table. Couldn't even steal a damn car.
