I believe those flowers were at the studio-owned bungalow so she saw it as some kind of revenge on Mayer. It's quite watchable. Stunned that it won a Razzie. Well, the movie concentrates on her explosive episodes. A person just sitting there being happy is not considered good entertainment. That's what Hollywood actors did before plastic surgery. Well written. Yeah, that must have been so weird for the viewers of The Secret Storm. The first case of "this is one wacky soap opera". If this is all that happened to Christina, I would swap lives with her. I had worse, and so did lots of people in that era. For years I heard comedians talking about beating the kid with a wire hanger. But it was never described. In my imagination it was against the bare skin, the hanger pulled apart and used like a whip. But this was nothing. Used against thick clothing and flat so that the impact is dulled. The actor doesn't even scream. Such a myth around this. Has she complained? Has she written her own book? I think it's wrong of us to do her thinking for her. I don't know of anyone who could have done it as well as Dunaway. It's too bad she doesn't like the performance as she actually does very well. I don't know that it was that bad. I think Crawford was probably pretty much like this. Maybe some scenes like chopping the flowers at the bungalow could have been toned down a bit, but in general it's okay. Yeah! Maybe someone else has another theory. Here's a photo: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnlyMurdersHulu/comments/1felsu8/what_happened_to_evas_pants/#lightbox Apparently these pants are selling for the low, low price of $1500. I guess the way to make a lot of money is make something stupid and attach a huge price tag. Everyone will want one. Perhaps you didn't read it carefully. on DVD Someone saw it on TV? Yeah, it's a bit dubious, but the movie tends to get away with it because most people are so caught up in the action at that point, and busy trying to figure out what's going on and what's going to happen. He'll still always be King Tut to me. ;) He's pretty much always good whatever the quality of the film. Who knows anymore. Where were you 2 years ago? ;) It was more than that. She didn't want the movie made at all because Davis would have another triumph. Yes! Was having similar thoughts.
