Bull.
The production values raise it far above television at the time.
It SHOULD have been played for camp by everyone but Dunaway-with and maybe some scenes by Scarwid. The worst performance for me was Steve Forrest.
I agree though with anyone who believes the script should have been better considering the subject matter.

I don't know that it was that bad. I think Crawford was probably pretty much like this. Maybe some scenes like chopping the flowers at the bungalow could have been toned down a bit, but in general it's okay.
