Wikipedia says he complained about America being overly politically correct and apparently he said that Mel Gibson was criticised because he was in a town run by Jews. Personally I think he is an amazing actor and I couldn't care less about his political beliefs, I had assumed he had taken a step back now that he is getting older and has built his career.. I hope he hasn't been blacklisted as that would be a great shame to lose out on such a talented actor on our screens. I think Eddie Redmayne would be a good choice as he was practically playing the Doctor in Fantastic Beasts but I think maybe he is too big a star at the moment to consider it. I didn't think they were going to make a third series because they made such a big deal about filming the second before the first aired.. is it in a different jail then? I really enjoyed the first two and knowing very little about jail, I was shocked to find how little surveillance there was on the pods and also that they didn't get any time outside! I think a score in the 6 range would have been fair compared to other scores on here.. it wasn't a bad film, it just wasn't the best of its type.. As I've said on another thread, I think Untouchable is better but then it does get a much higher score.. I don't know what all the hype is about this movie, I guess people feel that it's a 'worthy' film because of its storyline and message. It did for me because it didn't have hardly any of the previous characters so it was like watching a completely new show and one that was nowhere near as good as the original. I completely agree.. the superhero films with humour are definitely the best! For me Deadpool and Iron Man are my favourites.. Robert Downey Jr definitely makes Iron Man though! I think in this world, they need a leader but I'm not sure whether Rick is the right person for it.. he seems to have done a fairly good job so far as I'm sure many other groups have been wiped out completely however he is far from perfect. Yeah, I don't get that either.. Jaws wasn't all that amazing to me either. I thought this film was a bit overrated, I preferred the French film Untouchable which was basically the same but to me far funnier and had much more emotional impact. Yeah, I liked Kickass but the whole storyline of this film was based on the one joke about sausages and buns! They're less prominent in films and shows. What about Glen? Or is it just about black or white people? Then it would be sexist.. why not a woman? Just choose the best person for the job regardless of sex, age or race. And let's not forget, T-Dog is dead so clearly not the best choice. He is only the leader because he joined the group early and because he was a policeman so was experienced at taking charge of situations.. I don't think he is the best choice of a leader though and I'm sure he would agree. I agree.. I think it's funny when it surprises you but this film seems to think they can be funny with just one joke over and over again! I hope not, I like Michonne and it's good to finally have a strong woman on the show. Exactly, he is doing what he has to in order to stay alive like he did by lying to Abraham about his ability to cure the outbreak... he will say and do whatever he needs to and whilst I don't think he would kill Ricks group himself, I think he would help Negan to do that in order to save his own neck. I agree, he is a great bad-guy... much better than The Govenor. I'm not much of a fan of Rick either. I like Andrew Lincoln but I find the character a bit too whiny and self important.. it was the same with Jack in Lost, the self-appointed leaders.. not a fan.
