I vote for Stephan Mangham for next doctor

Altho I'm bummed about Peter Capaldi (loved him), I'm thinking Stephan Mangham is the natural next choice. Check out BBC version of Dirk Gentley. He's SO perfect.

I think Eddie Redmayne would be a good choice as he was practically playing the Doctor in Fantastic Beasts but I think maybe he is too big a star at the moment to consider it.

He'd maybe be a bit too much like Matt Smith or is that just me? I spent most of the film being reminded by matt smith

I think he is like previous doctors but I guess that's why he seems right for the role.. he's not going to have a new take on the character.

I would have loved for Robert Carlyle to be Doctor Who, but alas he is on Once Upon A Time and unless Disney buy Doctor Who in the next year that isn't happening. For the obvious would take Paul McGann and with the precedent set about Capaldi being in it twice as the Doctor and Caecilius, even Richard E. Grant.

Not sure I am a fan of the rumoured casting of Kris Marshall as the Doctor, liked him in My Family but that's about it. I'd take Eddie Izzard as The Doctor over Marshall to be honest, then again he may surprise me and be fine.
