I agree, she was definitely unlikable but maybe it took those personality traits to be the one to finally say no to this man. I personally think people should be allowed to say what they want though and she should have been willing to debate with him, although I know that debating with people like this can be very frustrating because they are so stubborn in their beliefs, they refuse to even consider another persons viewpoint (I guess the same can be said about her but she wasn't the one falsifying evidence!) By refusing to even discuss his views she was allowing him to continue spouting more nonsense uncontested (I believe it's better to fight them with facts than insults).
I don't think it was that he couldn't afford a lawyer, it was that he was too arrogant to think he needed one. He thought he was more intelligent and manipulative than he really was.
Exactly, I don't think he was suing because he was accused of being a holocaust denier, he was suing because she called him a liar and he didn't think she could prove that the holocaust happened (and that his opinions were therefore just a valid hypothesis).
Oh yeah, because a 15 year old girl could never be useful for anything could she..
Either way, would she have died had it not been for the Nazis? She is still a young girl who died because she was Jewish.
He's a right rascal that Negan!
I liked that scene too!
I just thought he was a regular teenager, flaws and all.
I thought it was a sweet film but was a bit disappointed as it had got such a high rating, I was expecting something more.
I thought that too when I was watching it.. I guess it's a theme people like.
I agree about Michelle Williams, the scene when her character asks Lee to lunch seemed over the top.
I didn't have an issue with the way Lee reacted for most of the film, it seemed real to me apart from when his children died.. perhaps there were tears later but it just seemed odd to me that there was no reaction at all.
I thought they were all fundamentally good people who are just struggling to get by in life. We see Lee and he comes across as a horrible, violent man but we see him drop everything to be with his brother and nephew when needed.. not al families are that supportive of each other. We later find out what has caused him to go off the rails and I'm sure we can all sympathise with the loss of your children even if we've never felt that pain ourselves.
His wife has moved on but she still cares about him, she feels guilt for what she said in her grief and I'm sure we can also sympathise with that.. again, not many ex couples can be that open with one another.
As for Patrick, yes he was unfaithful to those girls and I certainly wouldn't want my daughter to date someone like that but again, I think underneath it all, he cared about his family and he cared about his uncle. When we see him find those photos of Lees kids, we see him realise that he needs to be a bit more compassionate.
As others have said, all of the characters have flaws but as a family, I think they're doing their best!
Yeah, I think my logical mind would understand but I don't think my emotional mind could ever get over the idea of her crushing that little skull.. I don't think I would have been able to do what she did but know that would most likely result in the death of them both and most likely in a far more gruesome manner! Either way, I'm glad I had my baby a couple of months ago and didn't watch this pregnant!
Yes, I definitely think he believed he was doing the right thing with his wife at least.
People hated her for 'stealing' Brad from Jennifer Aniston.. never mind the fact that Brad and Angelina were together longer than he was with Jennifer!
I don't think Gregory will go to find Negan, as others have said, he would be absolutely useless in survival skills and would end up getting himself killed if he tried to get there alone! That's not to say the show won't have him do it but I wouldn't find it particularly realistic if he made it without getting caught by walkers!
As for the walkers covered in metal.. I think you're right, they wouldn't be able to do much harm if they can't grab and bite. I guess they would work as a deterrent for some though!
It certainly looked like Darryl but that could be misdirection. As for Eugene, I agree, he would do anything to save his skin!
I think it's more a male thing wanting to fight.. not to say some women wouldn't want to join but I think the vast majority would have been men.
I agree that Eugene is probably worried about Rosita and Sasha getting hurt but I also believed that he genuinely wanted to stay. He enjoys this newfound power he has, his new self-appointed title!
I guess we're yet to see whether it's get picked up and whether there are sufficient differences to mean that it's not a complete rip-off of Solaris.
